1) Sue’s an engineer and she works for an American company. At the moment she’s managing a project in London. She loves working abroad and she’d like to work in South America or Asia one day. She seldom meets people that aren’t connected with her job. She wants to meet new people, use her mind and discuss ideas.
2) Jackie is 22 years old and she comes from Ottawa in Canada. She loves music and wants to work in the music industry when she leaves college. She plays the violin very well and has lessons once a week. She wants to learn to play the guitar or the piano.
3) Danilo is from Italy but he’s living in London at the moment. He’s working as a waiter in an Italian restaurant. He’d like to go to university in England. He likes travelling and he’s interested in talking to peoplefrom different countries. In his free time he goes to the cinema a lot – one day he’d like to work in the film industry.
V. Translate the sentences into English.
1. Меня зовут Андрей. Я родился в Калининграде. Мне 18 лет. Я учусь в Калининградском государственном техническом университете. Я учусь на факультете судостроения и энергетики. Моя специальность – строительство. Я являюсь студентом первого курса. Мои лекции проходят утром и днём. У меня мало свободного времени. Вечером я занимаюсь, готовлюсь к семинарам и практическим занятиям. В свободное время я люблю заниматься спортом и встречаться с друзьями.
2. Меня зовут Татьяна. Я родилась в Советске. Мне 17 лет. Я - студентка первого курса технического университета. Каждый день у меня 3 пары. Занятия заканчиваются днём, в 15.40. После лекций я еду домой. Дома я ужинаю и делаю домашнее задание. По выходным я езжу на море. Моёхобби – музыка. Мненравитсярок.
3. Разрешите представиться. Меня зовут Павел. Мне 19 лет. Я из России. Я живу в Балтийске. Я –студент первого курса заочной формы обучения. Два раза в год я сдаю экзаменационную сессию. Во время сессии я рано встаю, так как лекции, семинары и практические занятия начинаются в 8.30 утра. Каждый день у меня четыре пары. После занятий я иду в библиотеку и готовлюсь к семинарам. Вечером я делаю домашние упражнения и повторяю пройденный материал.

Two children that are born together are called twins.
The other members of the family are the relatives or relations: uncles, aunts, cousins.
In case of a second marriage, we speak of a stepfather or a stepmother, stepson, stepdaughter.
