Why does serious sport have nothing to do with fair play?

I don’t completely think so, because in many sports the participants are on a level playing field and the referee follow closely the compliance with rules, and he is always on the ball. Of course every sportsman has his own style of playing the game, for example they can make sacrificesand make foul or play very dirty, but it’s a whole new ball game.Mostly sports victories depend on calm, agility, coordination, determination, stamina, and tolerance of the sportsman.

What are the benefits and challenges of pursuing a sports career?

The pursuing a sports career depends on human capacity to reaching the goals. This person must be obsessive with sport, self-confident, calm, courteous, tolerant, agile, have a lot of stamina and mental calm. Every amateur can become a professional athlete; this person just need to have the wish to become a role model. So, the benefits of a sports career are that firstly the get a very big salary (because they enter into contracts with big companies and endorse companies’ products), secondly, as I said earlier, many professional athletes are the real role models and they have fans and many people want to be like them. And finally professional athletes are very disciplined and they have their own schedule of workouts, so I think that this makes them and their health stronger.

Tell about any martial arts you know. Think of five reasons for doing martial arts.

I know a little bit about karate. It is a martial art developed in Japan. And it can be practiced as an art, self-defense or as a combat sport. Karate have and other martial arts have a lot of benefits. Karate – is the ultimate in self-defense and fitness. It will make many people self-confident, and what is more, they’ll feel self-respect. Secondly, martial arts are based on self-discipline and self-control, so this is the only sport where people can learn how to protect themselves without violence. Moreover, martial arts, especially karate, exercises the entire body for the practice of health and self-development. It improves the body’s physical stamina and suppleness, and also helps concentration and produces the mental calm. But despite of these facts, trainings require hard work, so this sport is not for everyone.

What sacrifices do sportspeople make to succeed in their sport? Have you ever made sacrifices in order to achieve something? If so, what?

I think that in team sport, for example in football or hockey sportspeople can play after they got injury, and it’s very bad for their health, but they make everything for victory. Because of such extremes they can score an own goal, but their strength, calmand self-confidence allow them to make such sacrifices. What about me, it’s a whole new ball game. I make sacrifices only when it relates to study. For example, if I must to do something, I will do it, despite of the fact, that I’m feeling bad. I am very conscientious in this regard.

Who is your favourite sportsperson and the best sportsperson ever in your opinion? Give a full answer.

My favorite sportsperson ever is an Argentine footballer Lionel Messi. And I think that he is real role model, because he has achieved a lot in his career. He is a truly remarkable sportsman and some people say he’s the greatest modern sportsman. He is famous by his playing style. His speed and ball possession are the result of hardeveryday trainings. What’s also extraordinary about him is that he enjoys spending his time with family and his close ones. Lionel is very caring person. What is more, he has a good soul, he always finds free time to sign an autograph for his little fans, and you know, it’s so adorable and touching.
