Healthcare system in Kazakhstan
Healthcare in Kazakhstan is provided by a network of primary, secondary and tertiary care facilities. Healthcare facilities are largely owned and operated by the public sector represented by the Ministry of Health. Health insurance is now primarily provided by the government in the public sector.
The most common diseases are respiratory infections, cardiovascular conditions, and tuberculosis. Since 2000, the incidence of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) has increased, as has the incidence of environment-linked cancers. In 2003 an estimated 23,000 citizens had HIV. Because of increasing numbers of people in high-risk categories, such as female sex workers and intravenous narcotics users, experts forecast an increase in that figure. In 2003 an estimated 80 percent of cases were narcotics-related. In 2006 an outbreak of juvenile HIV caused by improper hospital techniques gained national attention. In the first nine months of 2006, some 1,285 new cases were reported officially. 37 mothers died per 100,000 live births in 2009. The maternal mortality rate had gone down slightly in comparison to 2008. Officials reported very high numbers for suicides in Kazakhstan.
Halloween
For all the nations, holidays are usually associated with pleasant pastime, jokes, and presents. These days cheer people up, let them relax spending time with their families and friends. However, every year Great Britain, the USA and Canada celebrate a gloomy, scary, but at the same time funny holiday – Halloween. Eccentricity and the special atmosphere of this holiday have made it popular all over the world.
The history of Halloween is tied with Celtic culture: in the end of the autumn, the antic Celts organized a festival in honor of harvested crop and the beginning of winter. Later, after the arrival of Christianity, people reconsidered this festival as a night dedicated to all the saints (before All Hollow’s Day on 1 November) and to death. It is said that only on the 31 October night the souls of the dead can return to earth. Therefore, various legends about the evil force have affected Halloween traditions.
There are many specific attributes of Halloween, although in modern culture it has already become just a colorful show. The most famous one is “jack-o’-lantern” – a pumpkin with a grim face carved on it and with a candle inside. Another tradition is “trick-or-treat”: children in carnival costumes go from house to house and beg for candies threatening an owner with a trick. Adults at parties also dress in costumes of ghosts, vampires, werewolves, and witches. At the festive meal, everyone eats potato pancakes, caramel apples, sweets and biscuits of pumpkin. Music, divinations and horror stories telling finish the Halloween night.

The Hermitage Gallery
I'd like to tell you about the Hermitage Gallery, one of the largest and well known museums in the world. Two months ago together with my classmates I was on an exersion in S. Petersburg.I visited many places of interest including the Hermitage Gallery.I was greatly impressed by visiting this museum of art. It was founded in 1764 by Ecatherine the Second when she bought 225 pictures in Berlin. Now the Hermitage consists of five buildings.
Now I'd like to tell you about pictures, sculptures and other works of art I've seen in the Hermitage Gallery. A great number of wonderful pictures are offered there. Everyone can find some kind of pictures to enjoy, for example the pictures by the world's greatest masters : Michelangelo, Raphael, Rembrands, Rubens and many others. All great schools of paintings are represented there:Italian, Spanish, German etc.
A few words about sculptures. I saw a lot of vases, staues and fountains. The most beautiful thing I have ever seen was the fauntain belonged to Alexander the Second.Among other outstanding peices of art I saw the coach of Ecatherine the Second and beautiful gobelens. It took 60 years to made one of these gobelens.In conclusion I'd like to stress that no one can see everything for the one visit. To enjoy the Hermitage Gallery you must visit it several times.The State Hermitage in St Petrsburg is one of the world's most outstanding art museums. It is the largest fine arts museum in Russia.World famour is the collection of West-European paintings covering a span of about seven hundreds years, from the 13th to the 20th centure, and comprising works by Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Titian, El |Greco. Velasquez, Murillo; outstanding paintings by Rembrandt, Va-Dyck, Rubens; a remarkable group of French 18th-centure canvases, and Impressionist and Post Impressionist paintings. The collection illustrates the art of Italy, Spain, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Austria, France, Britain, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and some other countries. The West-European Department also includes a fine collectin of European sculpture, containing works by Michelangelo, Canova, Falconet, Houdon, Rodin and many other eminent masters. The Hermitage, together with the Pushkin Fine Arts Museum in Moscow, must be ranked among the richest in the world in respect of Impressionist art.In addition to the works of Western masters, the Hermitage has sections devoted to the arts of India, China, Ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, Pre-|Columbian America, Greece and Rome, as well as a department of prehistoric art, not to mention a section devoted to Scythian art. People come to admire the collections of tapestry, precious textiles, weapons, ivories, pottery, porcelain and furniture as well.

Я хотел бы сообщить Вам о Галерее Эрмитажа, один из самых больших и известных музеев в мире. Два месяца назад вместе с моими одноклассниками я был на exersion в S. Петербург. Я посетил много достопримечательностей, включая Галерею Эрмитажа. Я был очень увлечен, посещая этот музей искусства. Это было основано в 1764 Ecatherine Второй, когда она купила 225 картин в Берлине. Теперь Эрмитаж состоит из пяти зданий.
Теперь я хотел бы сообщить Вам о картинах, скульптурах и других произведениях искусства, что я видел в Галерее Эрмитажа. Большой номер(число) замечательных картин предлагается там. Каждый может находить, что некоторые картины наслаждаются, например картинами всемирными самыми большими владельцами(мастерами): Michelangelo, Рафаэл, Rembrands, Rubens и многие другие. Holidays
After a difficult school year started my summer vacation. I was happy when I finished a difficult school year began, and holidays. Ibegan to plan a lot of wonderful things that you can do duringsummer vacation.
I spend my holidays with my friends.
After each term in school we had our holidays. It's fun to have holidays, you can do whatever you like, you don't have to get up too early, do your homework or think of troubles which occur very often at school.
Most of all I liked summer holidays, they were the longest ones, though, when winter was snowy and and frosty, I enjoyed my winter holidays skating and skiing, sledging and making a snowman or having a fight with snowballs.

В конце каждой четверти в школе у нас были каникулы. Интересно быть на каникулах. Ты можешь делать все, что тебе хочется. Тебе не надо рано вставать, делать домашние задания или думать о неприятностях, которые часто возникают в школе.
Больше всего мне нравятся летние каникулы. Они самые длинные. Хотя, когда зима была снежная и морозная, я получал удовольствие от зимних каникул, катаясь на коньках, лыжах, санках, делая снеговика и бросаясь снежками.
Holidays in Great Britain.
There are some holidays in GB They are Christmas day, Boxing Day, new years day, Easter, mayday, spring bank holiday and simmer bank holiday. Public holidays in GB are called bank holidays because the banks as wall as most of the offices and shops are closed. The most popular holiday is Xmas. Every year the people of Norway give the city of London the present. It is a big Xmas tree and it stands in Trafalgar square. Central streets are beautifully decorated. Before Xmas groups of singers go from house to house. They collect money for charity and sing carols traditional Xmas songs. Many churches hold a carol serves on the Sunday before Xmas. The fun starts the night before, on the 24 of December. This is the day when people decorate their trees. Children hang stocking at the end of their beds, hoping that Santa Claus will come at night and full them with toys and sweets. Xmas is a family holiday. Relatives’ prepare for the big Xmas dinner of turkey and Xmas pudding and every one gives and gets presents. The 26 of December, Boxing Day are an extra holiday after Xmas. This is the time to meet friends or sit at home and watch TV. New years day is less popular in Britain then Xmas. Besides public holidays there are some special holidays in Britain. One of them takes place on the 5 of November. On that day in 1605 Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the House of Parliament and kill a King James the first. But he didn’t succeeded. The King’s man found the bomb and took Guy Fawkes to the tower. Sins what day the British celebrate the 5 of November.

Holidays, Travel and Tourism
For most people there is no problem in deciding how they are going to spend the money they earn - it all goes on housing, food, clothes, transport and, if they are lucky, leisure and some holidays. Many of us have spent our lives without doing anything out of the ordinary and now I have got a marvelous opportunity of doing something exciting and I will. If I win the prize of 20,000 dollars, I will spend it in the world round trip. To travel round the world has long been my dream and with this sum of money behind me this dream is likely to be realized. I am going to take a trip round the world. I am going to do a lot of sight seeing. I am going to put up at expensive hotels and spend much money on entertainment and other exciting things. My travel experience would begin in New York, known as one of the world's most modern cities because of its high buildings and its dynamic spirit. From New York I would cross the Atlantic Ocean to England. In London I would explore the British Museum and visit the shops and pubs along King's Road in Chelsea. My next stop would be Amsterdam, an attractive city because of its steep narrow houses and canals lined with trees. Flying on to Copenhagen I would eat Danish open-faced sandwiches and be entertained at night clubs in Tivoli Gardens. Having seen enough cities by this time I would head South to the Italian Riviera. Portofino, a handsome fishing village resembling an opera setting, is one of the most charming vacations sports in Europe. Of course, a serious traveller could not leave Italy without visiting Florence, Venice, Naples and Rome, for all these cities are living museums. Continuing South, I would trace the beginning of Western civilization. I would make stops in Athens and Cario. Certainly a chance to see the pyramids should not be missed. Next, I would fly east to visit the shimmering island of Ceylon. Here, the traveller finds many precious gems for sale, but the brightest jewel of all is Ceylon itself. Leaving this island I would travel to Bangkok, an Oriental city of many charms. Then, like mane other travellers, I would be drawn to Hong Kong, the shopper's paradise.
Leaving Asia, I would load my over stuffed suitcase on a plane bound for Acapulco. In this Mexican resort, I would swim, sunbathes and eat spicy foods. At this time it would be necessary to count my remaining travellers checks.
If a tour of Latin America were still possible, I would want to stop in Peru, Argentina, Brazil. But by that time my funds would probably have run low. So, where would my round the would trip end? For me there is only one answer: Moscow, the city I will never tire of calling home.
Hotel
Nowadays there are plenty of different hotels. The demand for them is growing rapidly. More and more people prefer to stay at the hotels during their holidays. Some stay there when they have business trips. Hotels normally try to provide service of outstanding quality and satisfy all the guests’ need, so as to recruit regular clients.
There are different types of hotels. Some hotels are luxurious and provide a wide range of services. It is obvious that this type of hotels is extremely expensive. At the same time, there are some hotels, which provide a limited list of services at quite reasonable prices. It is an ideal choice for people, who are not ready to waste a considerable sum of money for the accommodation.
On the whole, there a
number of advantages associated with staying at the hotel. Firstly, there is no need to worry about cooking, cleaning and so on. Secondly, hotels usually have a convenient location.
However, there are several disadvantages in staying in a hotel. First of all, service there may be really poor, which may spoil your stay there. A lot of people face the problem of very noisy neighbors. Moreover, the food at the hotel may be disgusting.
Personally, I really enjoy staying in hotels. Fortunately, I have never had any problems and my stay there was really comfortable. My family lays special emphasis on choosing the hotel to stay in. We monitor the information about various hotels at different websites, read the comments of those, who have already stayed there and make the final choice.

The House of My Dream
Everyone dreams of his or her ideal house. I am not an exception. I dream of a house which is placed on the outskirts of the big city. The house should be a two-storey one and have an attic. There should also be a big yard surrounded by the fence.
As the house is located on the outskirts there should be a garage for two cars. It would be wonderful to have a garden with fruit trees, a playground, a bath-house and a workshop. There should be a porch where I can have tea with my friends.
When you enter the house, you see the wooden staircase. There are a living room, a kitchen and a dining room with the exit to the backyard on the ground floor. There are bedrooms for my family and guests on the first floor. The halls should be wide and the rooms should be large and well-lit. Of course, there should be a bathroom on the ground floor and two bathrooms on the first floor.
To sum it up, it is necessary to say a few words about the interior of the house of my dream. On the one hand, it should be modern as much as possible, equipped with different devices and special equipment. On the other hand, there should be a lot of house plants and transparent walls in the house of my dream. It is necessary to be close to nature.
Каждый мечтает о своем идеальном доме. Я не исключение. Я мечтаю о доме, который расположен на окраине большого города. Дом должен быть двухэтажным и иметь чердак. Также должен быть большой двор, окруженный забором.

Подводя итог, необходимо сказать несколько слов об интерьере дома моей мечты. С одной стороны, он должен быть современным настолько, насколько это возможно, оснащен различными устройствами и специальным оборудованием. С другой стороны, в доме моей мечты должно быть много комнатных растений и прозрачных стен. Это необходимо для того, чтобы быть ближе к природе.
Household duties
I believe that it is absolutely vital to keep the house clean in order to create a cozy atmosphere there. In all families, household chores are normally divided between family members and my family is no exception.
Honestly, I do not have numerous household duties. I have to make my bed and take out the rubbish regularly. Weekly I clean my room. Besides, sometimes I can cook something. Actually, I am not really good at cooking. It is rather difficult for me, that`s why my mother cooks for the whole family on the regular basis. She really enjoys cooking and her dishes are very delicious. From time to time I help her serve the table or buy some products if we are run out of something.
On Saturdays, my parents and I do a big cleaning. I usually do vacuum-cleaning and dust the furniture, while my mother mops the floor and do the ironing. My father is responsible for fixing the breakages in our flat. Moreover, once a month he beats the dust out of the carpets. My parents clear out the kitchen and bathroom together. On Sundays, my father normally goes shopping and buys products for the whole week. Frankly speaking, my parents do the majority of household chores. Nevertheless, I understand that they are really exhausted after the working week and want to have a rest even at the weekend. That`s why I do my best to help them with the cleaning.
