5. Read the following extracts: from "When Roger told me, ..." up to "...as hard as nails", from "If you don't find a house soon, ..." up to "...sixty houses on them", and from "Mrs. Barlow had the patience 
of an angel..." up to "...Ruth Barlow took to her bed" paying attention to the intonation of the stimuli and responses in the dialogues. Convey proper attitudes by using adequate intonation patterns.
