It goes without saying that art is a great power. Different works of art have been created to please the eye and to excite emotions. Art has many forms. Visual and performing arts are the ones that can be related easily. Visual arts broadly comprise of paintings, drawing, clay modeling, architecture, sculpture, photography, graffiti, illustration etc. Performing arts include dance, music, opera, theatre, magic, spoken words, circus art and musical theatre. It is interrelated with entertainment.
Belarus is famous all over the world due to its painters. Ossip Zadkine, Kazimir Malevich, Ivan Khrutsky are famous Belarusian painters, but the most is Marc Chagall. His works are in the biggest art galleries of the world. Music has a great impact on our mood. It makes us joyful and relaxes us and keeps the energy on. Not only music but also movies, plays and theatre also make us active.
As for me I prefer music. It appeals to my heart and helps me to stay cheerful and active. As any form of art, music reflects life, people’s ideas and emotions. I enjoy rock. It is full of force. It makes me active and energetic. I enjoy listening to music on the internet or by playing my phone. My favourite groups are “Linkin Park” and “Muse”. I don’t agree with people who say that rock music makes people hate. In my view this music has a lot of positive effects. So, art makes people feel a part of global family, because art unites people.

Is graffiti a form of art or an act of vandalism?
1) Different works of art reflect life, people’s ideas and emotions. They please the eye and excite emotions. Art always says something. But there are a lot of people who don’t understand modern art, especially graffiti. Big companies use graffiti and other forms of modern art to promote their products among young people. As for me, I like interesting and beautiful graffiti. I think if people like graffiti, let it be.
2) Graffiti is illegal art and it’s everywhere in the 21st century. Cleaning up them costs millions of roubles a year. I think it’s one of types of property vandalism.
