Pre-diploma practice

Pre-diploma practice is part of the graduate design and its first stage, when the student clarifies the basic contours of all sections of their graduation project. Collected in this way the material is presented in the statement of a student externship practice, which is then used in the development of their graduation project. Clarification of the graduation projects and their final consolidation of the student higher education institution is made by the order of the rector.

Sending students to externship, students handed out the diploma design.

The main purpose of pre-diploma practice is that the student was able to collect additional material for the graduation project, to bring all the material in the system and prepare for the development of the graduation project.

To send all students to externship so that this practice is exactly consistent with the theme of graduate design is almost impossible. Therefore, the theme of the graduation projects and basic enterprise externship divided into large groups similar to each other on the architecture of buildings and structures: industrial construction, public buildings, housing construction, agricultural construction, etc.

It is advisable to entrust the conduct industrial practice to project managers, securing them students - undergraduates, graduate students to better prepare for degree designing.

During industrial practices and pre-diploma practice the student must:

- Examine the particular processes that will occur in the projected building them;

- Determine the structural scheme of the building and pick up the construction;

- Decide in the draft plan of its buildings;

- From the model projects, albums, typical drawings, catalogs, which a student can be found on the construction site, in the technical department, group, or ERP in the design institute to write the running and the most advanced bearing and protecting structures, their technical and techno - economic indicators;

- Regulatory stock material: SNIP, SST, catalogs;

- In actual production conditions to explore the technological maps for various types of work, work processes card, construction plans, network and schedules;

- Learn the principles of budgeting.

The content and structure of the degree graduation project

The content of the graduation project is a scientific work (design decision), independently prepared by a graduate student at higher education institution on a particular specialty in the form of manuscripts.

The graduation project should include the following structural elements:

- Cover;

- Title page;

- The task of implementation of the project;

- The content;

- Introduction;

- The main part;

- Conclusion (conclusions);

- A list of sources used;

- Application;

- Specification (list of abbreviations, symbols, etc.).

Volume of the graduation project must be defined by the graduate department in accordance with the specific specialty.

On the cover are the following:

- Name of the organization where the project is executed,

- Surname and name of the student,

- The name of the project theme

- Kind of work - the graduation project

- Call number and name of the specialty,

- City, year.

The title page is the first page of the project and serves as a source of information necessary for processing and retrieval of document.

The title page provides the following information:

- The full name of the Ministry, the institution and the department (each with a capital letter);

- Restrictive neck (if necessary)

- Asserts signature of Head of Department;

- Kind of work - of course or graduation project;

- The name of the theme of the project with the indication "on";

- Speciality code and title;

- On the left - the word "fulfilled", right in front of the surname and name of the student;

- Line below is written "scientific leader", "leader" and surname and name, academic degree, academic rank, others

Regalia of the head;

- City, year.

Samples of registration of title pages and covers of the graduation project are given in Annex 3.

Cover sheet included in the total numbering of the project, but on it the page number ( "1" digit) is not affixed.

The content includes an introduction, the serial numbers and names of all the sections, subsections, conclusion, list of references and the name of the application with the page numbers, which begin with those elements of the project.

Headings of the content (column) must exactly repeat the headlines in the text, to reduce or give them to another formulation cannot.

The headings of the same steps necessary categorization causeway under each other. The headings of each subsequent stage to displace two or three characters to the right with respect to the titles of the previous stage.

All titles begin with a capital letter, not the end point on the final page, the last word of each heading is connected to hone respectively corresponding to it-the page number in the right column content.

The word "Content" is written as the header line in the middle at the top of the new page.

The introduction should contain justification topicality of the graduation project, scientific novelty and practical importance, an assessment of the current state to solve scientific problems, and should be stated goal, objectives and object of graduate studies, described the theoretical and methodological framework and practical framework of writing the graduation project.

The word "Introduction" is written with indentation capitalized without a point at the end, not underlining

The volume of introduction should be small - one or two pages.

Relevance coverage should be laconic; it should not be a description to start from a far. The main thing is to show the essence of the problem situation, to reflect where the line between knowledge and ignorance about the subject.

Formulate a scientific problem, it should be logical to move toward the goal of research is undertaken, as well as to point out the specific tasks to be addressed in accordance with this purpose. This is usually done in the form of transfers (to study ... to describe, define, display, etc.). The wording of the tasks needed-mo to perform as closely as possible, as a description of their solution should then create the project content. In addition, the wording of the tasks undertaken by the research has born titles of sections and subsections of the degree project.

A mandatory element is the introduction of the formulation of the object and subject of study. The object –is a process or phenomenon, generating a problematic situation and favorites for the study. Item - this is what is within the boundaries of the object. The object and subject of research as a scientific process categories relate to each other as the general and the particular. The object stands out that part of it which is the subject of research.

The main part of the graduation project lead data, reflecting the nature, content, methodology and main results of the work performed.

The main part of the graduation project is usually divided into the time-limits of and subsections (chapters and sections).

The graduation project consists of an introduction and five sections:

          Section 1              Architectural - constructive

In this section, assembled materials, giving an overview of the proposed facility, the graphic part is performed in accordance with ESKD and SST21.501-93 and includes: General plan of the site is carried out in accordance with SNIP and is drawn at a scale of 1: 500, 1: 1000. (Recommended)

In the drawing, are applied: - the boundaries of the territory on which the projected building;

- All existing in the area of the building and construction;

- All projected buildings;

- Roads, driveways, industrial and domestic sites, ets ;

- Gardening area

In the general plan are horizontally and snap the corners of the building (red and black marks), the orientation of the building, the wind rose, and placed a table of technical and economic parameters, legend and symbols. Building plans are drawn in an amount that allows understanding its architectural solution and functionality. If the building is one-story, the drawn plan of the first floor to the ground level. If the high-rise, the plans are drawn different types of floors. Plans are drawn on a scale of 1: 100; 1: 200.

Plans for foundations, floors, coverings, roofs are drawn on a scale of 1: 100; 1: 200 with the layout elements, including their names and sizes.

Sections:

- A cross-section of the building is executed in scale 1:50, 1: 100 (preferably in the stairwell) with dimensions of sections of bearing and protecting designs.

- A longitudinal section executed as needed.

The facade of the building is carried out in 1: 100, 1: 200 in consultation with the head can be made on the tablet.

Units, details are performed on the stage of working drawings in the amount of 5 pieces.

Explanatory note to the architectural and constructive part in the amount of 20-25 pages include:

- General part - is given on the basis of which in this section is performed degree project, as well as a heating, plumbing, drainage, ventilation projected building;

- Description of the general plan of the site - area size, orientation, built on it, as well as the technical and economic parameters to the general plan;

- Architectural and planning part - in this section provides a substantiated

adopted plan and is described briefly:

a) building configuration and its dimensions;

b) the particular space-planning decisions;

c) explication of the premises with an indication of the area;

d) a description of the facade;

d) on environmental measures;

e) for industrial buildings description of material handling equipment.

g) in conclusion indicates the degree of fire resistance class of the building.

- Architectural and building part - in this section briefly given:

a) the structural characteristics of the building;

b) A brief description and justification of selected structures (foundations, walls, frame members, cover, roof, walls, floors, stairs, windows, doors, gates);

c) description of the exterior and interior;

d) engineering and technical equipment of buildings (heating, water, cable, sewer, electricity).
