24.a. Explain microscope.A microscope (from the Ancient Greek: μικρός, mikrós, "small" and σκοπεῖν, skopeîn, "to look" or "see") is an instrument used to see objects that are too small to be seen by the naked eye. Microscopy is the science of investigating small objects and structures using such an instrument. Microscopic means invisible to the eye unless aided by a microscope.

b. Explain Birds. A warm-blooded egg-laying vertebrate animal distinguished by the possession of feathers, wings, a beak, and typically by being able to fly

c. What is the difference between monocots and dicots?Monocots have one coteledon, diocots have two coteledon.

25. a. What is Biology? The study of living organisms, divided into many specialized fields that cover their morphology, physiology, anatomy, behavior, origin, and distribution.

b. Animal body is complex and has many systems, say 3 of them.Respiratory, Circulatory and Skeletal system

c. Say general properties of Kingdom Monera. Single celled, some are motile, some are autotrophs others obtain food from different organisms.

26.a. What is Botany? The scientific study of the physiology, structure, genetics, ecology, distribution, classification, and economic importance of plants.

b. Explain amphibians.A cold-blooded vertebrate animal of a class that comprises the frogs, toads, newts, salamanders, and caecilians. They are distinguished by having an aquatic gill-breathing larval stage followed (typically) by a terrestrial lung-breathing adult stage.

c. Say general properties of Kingdom Protista.Protists are eukaryotic organisms that cannot be classified as a plant, animal, or fungus. They are mostly unicellular, but some, like algae, are multicellular. Kelp, or 'seaweed,' is a large multicellular protist that provides food, shelter, and oxygen for numerous underwater ecosystems. Even though kelp resembles a plant, it is not classified into Kingdom Plantae because it lacks the cellular complexity of plant cells.

27.a. What is Paramecium?A paramecium is a unicellular organism belonging to the kingdom Protista, so it isn't exactly a plant or an animal. The organism can digest food, move through water by propelling itself with cilia, and reproduce.

b. Explain Arthropods and give examples..It mean join legs their body is 3 part head, tharax, abdomen. The three main classes of arthropods are: insectscrustaceansand arachnids. Arthropods present three distinguishing features: they are metameric organisms (segmented body).

C. Classify bacteria according to its’ shape.

Rod shaped bacteria (bacillus)

Sphere shaped bacteria

Spiral shaped bacteria (spirillium )

Comma shped bacteria (vibrium )

A. All living things are grouped (classified) according to their properties.

b. Which Kingdoms do you know?Protista, Animalia, Monera, Fungi, Planti.

c. Explain Elephantiasis.Elephantiasis refers to a parasitic infection that causes extreme swelling in the arms and legs. The disease is caused by the filarial worm, which is transmitted form human to human via the female mosquito when it takes a blood meal. The parasite grows into an adult worm that lives in the lymphatic system of humans.

29.a. Explain Invertebrates and give examples.Invertebrates are animals without backbones. This simple definition hides the tremendous diversity found within this group which includes protozoa (single-celled animals), corals, sponges, sea urchins, starfish, sand dollars, worms, snails, clams, spiders, crabs, and insects. In fact, more than 98 percent of the nearly two million described species are invertebrates. Ex: Arachnids;Arthropods ; Butterflies ; Cockroaches ; Corals ; Crustaceans ; Insects ; Mollusks ; Protozoa

b. Animal body is complex and has many systems, say 3 of them.Respiratory, Circulatory and Skeletal system

c. What is Euglena?Euglena is trying to create a brighter future using euglena. You will understand why we are so passionate about euglena if you can see its potential

30. a.What is Paramecium?A paramecium is a unicellular organism belonging to the kingdom Protista, so it isn't exactly a plant or an animal. The organism can digest food, move through water by propelling itself with cilia, and reproduce.

b. Explain amphibians.A cold-blooded vertebrate animal of a class that comprises the frogs, toads, newts, salamanders, and caecilians. They are distinguished by having an aquatic gill-breathing larval stage followed (typically) by a terrestrial lung-breathing adult stage.

c. What is Zygomycota?Zygomycota, or zygote fungi, is a division or phylum of the kingdom Fungi. Approximately 1050 species are known. They are mostly terrestrial in habitat, living in soil or on decaying plant or animal material.
