Introduction

The diploma work is devoted to one of the actual and not completely developed problems of a technique of training in the translation, namely a technique of training in the translation of the English phrasal verbs. At the present stage of development of economic, political and cultural contacts the translation is of great importance for mutual understanding and interpenetration of cultures. Now problems of the translation draw huge attention that is caused, first of all, by rapid growth of value of translation activity. In total phrasal verbs or special forms of word formation which are absent in Russian in modern English there are more than twelve thousand, but their number steadily grows. Along with increase in their number, also the frequency of their use grows: these units are extremely common in the speech and are more preferable in comparison with verbs of a Latin origin with similar value. The carried-out analysis of the linguistic researches devoted to phrasal verbs confirms need of possession of this subsystem of the English lexicon for effective communication: phrasal verbs are socially important units of the nomination for English-language collective, and also serve the world categorization purposes - designate action and specify his character in the laconic and clear way. Important and actual it is represented to understand the nature of phrasal verbs as unique phenomenon of lexicon of English and to find out why they present special difficulty in perception, understanding, the use and translation. Supervision over educational process has allowed drawing a conclusion that students don't own in sufficient volume such important layer of the English lexicon as a phrasal verb, and in the speech try to use instead of him words of a Latin origin that brings, according to foreign linguists and methodologists R. Dixon, to unnatural sounding of the speech of the foreigner even at a large supply of words and good possession of grammar: "The student may learn grammar and, with time, acquire an adequate vocabulary, but without a working knowledge of such idioms as to put out, to get along, to call for, to look up, to look over, etc., his speech remains awkward and stilted". The quote according to S. B. Berlizon.

The analysis of linguistic and methodical literature on a problem of translating English phrasal verbs allows to reveal contradictions: between the social order of society for the experts owning skills in separate types of the translation and an insufficient readiness in educational institutions of a technique of training in these types of the translation; between the data on a role and features of phrasal verbs which are saved up in linguistics as units of the nomination, socially important for English-language collective, and insufficient use of these data it is aware of transfer in the theoretical plan, and also lack of practical developments on training in the translation of the English phrasal verbs it is aware of the translation; between need of mastering phrasal verbs for development of an idiomatic of the speech of students and an insufficient readiness of the corresponding technique of translating. Thus, relevance of a subject is caused: need for the qualified translators owning idiomatic of English and capable to translate the phrasal verbs which are often used in English into Russian and also to translate texts of various genres from Russian into English, using phrasal verbs; need to find out why phrasal verbs present special difficulty in perception, understanding, the use and transfer; insufficient level of proficiency in students in the English phrasal verbs in the course of implementation of different types of the translation; insufficient theoretical readiness of questions of formation of translation competence; need for creation and introduction of an effective technique of training in the translation of phrasal verbs of students of translation office; lack of manuals on training in the translation of phrasal verbs.

The research is defined by the fact that definition of phrasal verbs is specified, in particular, on the basis of the analysis of various definitions of phrasal verbs the most general definition according to which the phrasal verb is understood as the special form of word formation characteristic of English but which is absent in Russian, formed by addition to a verb of a prepositional particle therefore value of an initial verb can be reversed is removed; complex representation of the concept "translation of phrasal verbs", used in the text as result of translation activity as speech activity as act of bilingual communication and as the text received during translation process is given; the difficulties of the translation of the English phrasal verbs caused by their linguistic features are revealed uniqueness of phrasal verbs and absence of analogs for them in Russian; their large number and polysemy; two-component structure of phrasal verbs; the idiomatic value of phrasal verbs which isn't consisting of values of components; a large number of the postpositions which are a component of phrasal verb, and typical mistakes of students in their use; conditions of training in the translation of students of language higher education institution are analyzed the standard, the program, manuals, time of training and another the system of receptions and exercises is developed for training in the translation of phrasal verbs of students of translation office; the technique of training in the translation of phrasal verbs of English as to important means of an idiomatization of the speech of students is theoretically proved and experimentally checked. Thus, the topicality of this research is determined by:

-Lack of manuals on training in the translation of phrasal verbs

- Need for the translating the phrasal verbs which are often used in English into Russian and also to translate texts of various genres from Russian into English, using phrasal verbs;

- Need for creation and introduction of an effective technique of training in the translation of phrasal verbs

The diploma work contains viewpoints of various authors and researchers on the use of the Phrasal verbs in teaching English such as E.I. Passov, B. Arnold, M. Warschauer, E.I. Dmitrieva, S.V. Novikov, I.A. Caturova. These researchers investigate the problems, difficulties, advantages and disadvantages of using Phrasal verbs for development of didactic skills, perfection of reading, listening, writing, speaking skills and creating a stable motivation to learning English. Also represents attempt to some extent to fill lack of theoretical and practical researches in domestic theory and practice of translation, and also to develop technology of training of students of translation office in the translation of phrasal verbs.

The aim – to investigate specifics of use of phrasal verbs and difficulties of their translation into Russian, to define the role of phrasal verbs in English, having considered their lexical and grammatical features. Also to find some successful methods of teaching and translating Phrasal verbs into Russian.

The object: process of training of the translation of the English phrasal verbs

The subject: technique of training in the translation of the English phrasal verbs

The hypothesis: In the case of implementing the potential of Phrasal verbs in the content of teaching English the results may guarantee effective acquisition, consequently providing deeper learning of the target language.

The tasks:

1. To generalize and analyze all theoretical and practical material about Phrasal verbs, reveal peculiarities of using phrasal verbs in teaching English.

2. To reveal difficulties of translating phrasal verbs into Russian and define the importance of using Phrasal verbs in modern conditions.

3. To consider advantages and disadvantages of translating Phrasal verbs into Russian.

4.  To create exercises for teachers and students and to work out using Phrasal verbs.

5. To suggest recommendations of effective use phrasal verbs in the educational process .

The basis of investigation: educational, scientific,methodical literature, internet resources.

The methods: research and analysis of methodical literature and pedagogical sources; observation, conversation, testing and experiment; observation. 

The theoretical value: We have made an attempt to reveal all the difficulties of translating phrasal verbs into Russian language, to review common phrasal verbs which are used in teaching English.

The practical value: Elaborated by us Phrasal verb activities can be used by teachers in their professional act in schools.

The structure: The diploma work consists of introduction, theoretical part, practical part, conclusion, list of bibliography and appendix.

Introduction substantiates: the following structural elements: the topicality of the problem, the aim, the object, the subject, the hypothesis, the tasks, the basis of investigation, the methods, the theoretical value, the practical value and the structure.

The first chapter is devoted to the consideration of variety of viewpoints, thoughts of famous authors, concerning their investigations in the field of the potential of Phrasal verbs in teaching English. It presents some difficulties and new approaches of using Phrasal verbs on the English lesson, their advantages and disadvantages. It also describes different types of communication through the Phrasal verbs that are most effective to develop the students' communicative competence.

The second chapter  “The difficulties of translating and usage of Phrasal verbs in teaching English” is devoted to practical and methodical aspects of using Phrasal verbs in education, the ways of application of the Phrasal verbs, and finding out the main difficulties translating English Phrasal verbs into Russian. Conclusion summarizes all the problems and suggestions concerning the Phrasal verbs in teaching English and translating into Russian according to the aim, tasks and hypothesis of diploma work. 

In conclusion general results of the study are recapitulated.

The list of bibliography consists of 40 literary sources.
