Method of conducting of practical training.



1. After verification of presents and announcement of theme of training with pointing on its actuality a teacher conducts the writing entrance control of knowledge.

2) Analysis of the executed tests and consideration of errors.

3) In the ward of department a teacher demonstrates the method of collection of food anamnesis and estimation of its efficiency.

4) A teacher demonstrates the rules of composition of menu for a child, who is on the artificial feeding.

5) A teacher distributes children for independent work, assigns.

6) Students design protocols with the composition of menu for a baby.

7) A teacher conducts the analysis of the menus. Signs protocols.

8) A teacher conducts the final control of knowledge on this theme with the use of situation clinical tasks. Addition №2 is set of situation clinical tasks.

9) A teacher works out the resume of training, gives estimation of knowledge and abilities of students. Assigns for independent preparation to a next training.

Task 1.

1 month child is on the artificial feeding. What formula is it better to feed a child by? What quantity of feeding on a day?

Answer: by the high-adapted formula, such as „Нірр- 1”, „Nutrilon-1”, „NAN -1”, and other 7 times per day in 3 hours.

Task 2.

1,5 months child with mass at birth 3500 g, is on the artificial feeding. What formula is it better to feed a child by? Define daily volume, volume on a 1 feeding.

Answer: Mass in 1,5 months: m = 3500 + 600 + 400 = 4500 g

Daily volume : V = 4500 : 5 = 900 ml

V on a 1 feeding = 900 : 7 = 145 ml.

Task 3.

3 month old child with mass at birth 3200 g, is on the artificial feeding by the adapted formula. Make one-day menu for a child. To define necessities in proteins, fats, carbohydrates, energy.

Answer: 1. mass in 3 months M = 3200+ 600+800+800 = 5400 g

2. Daily volume of feed is 1/6 from the mass V= 5400:6=900 ml

3. Volume on one feeding = 900 ml : 6 = 150 ml.

4. Necessity in proteins, fats, carbohydrates, kcal:

P= 2,5 g х 5,4 kg= 13,5 g.              C = 12 g х 5,4 kg= 64,8 g.

F =6,5 g х 5,4 kg= 35,1 g.                 Kcal =120 kcal х 5,4 kg= 677,7 kcal.

5. Menu on 1 day:

6.00 formula „NAN” – 150 ml.

9.30 formula „NAN” – 150 ml.

13.00 formula „NAN” – 150 ml.

16.30 formula „NAN” – 150 ml.

20.00 formula „NAN” – 150 ml.

23.00 formula „NAN” – 150 ml.

Semantic module 16. Partial breast feeding of children.

    Concrete aims:

• To explain term partial breast feeding of children

• To collect anamnesis of feeding of child of breast age and estimate it, prevent progress of hypogalactia in mother.

• To expect daily volume of meal and necessary amount of meal on one feeding to the child, that is on the partial breast feeding depending on age.

• To make one-day menu for the child of breast age, that is on the partial breast feeding.

• To organize the correct partial breast feeding, interpret to its efficiency.

• To correct the feed to the child, which is on the partial breast feeding.
