My personal opinion is that the Internet is the greatest invention of our time. 3. The Internet has revolutionized the way people live and work. I can't imagine my life without the Internet. 4. Thanks to it, I have an opportunity to access news, documents, images, sounds, video, games and sports reports, to make friends, to book tickets and to purchase different things online. 5. There are a lot of different sites for pupils, students, gardeners, engineers, bankers, people who are fond of music, cinema, sports and even for disabled people. What is more, the Internet has revolutionized the way people communicate. 6. Sending electronic text messages is much faster and easier than writing letters. People use e-mail to stay in touch with friends worldwide. 7. It also gives anyone the ability to buy and sell almost anything imaginable, find and torment old school mates, watch the latest you-tube videos, and even find their perfect life partner. 8. Computers are great tools for education. There are lots of online websites which are extremely useful for students to gain extra knowledge. Plusthere are many forums too for students which can be used for consulting with other students or experts. 9. But we shouldn't forget that the Internet becomes dangerous when it is misused. 10. Because the Internet is so easily accessible to anyone, it can be a dangerous place. Know who you are dealing with or what you are getting into. Predators, cyber criminals, bullies, and corrupt businesses will try to take advantage of the unwaryvisitor. | |||

4. Over 300 million people speak it as a mother tongue.

6. It is widely known that English is the language of computer technology.
7. As for me,I would like to learn two or three foreign languages.
8. In addition toEnglish I would like to speak French and Spanish.
9. They sound nice for me and have great cultural potential.
10. The ability of speaking one or two foreign languages helps people from different countries to develop mutualfriendship and understanding.
11. There are some difficulties people can face when learning to speak and write English.
12. English Grammar is complex, making it difficult to remember.
13. English has one of the biggest vocabularies of all languages.

4. As for me, I like to read books in my free time. Books help me to go away from life problems, to get into another world. I like variousliterature directions and authors. It depends on my mood which book I take to read.
5. Sometimes it can be a detective story or romantic novel; sometimes it can be only a short story or fairy tales.
6. Every book gives birth to special inner world in my mind and in my soul.

9. I like to imagine main characters of my favorite books, their clothes, and faces. It is difficult for me to leave the characters in the end of the books.

2. My personal opinion is that every invention has its time, and the Internet is the greatest invention of our time.
3. Technology is an important part of our lives. We use computers and other electric equipment at work and in the home. Technological advances are changing our lives very rapidly.Nowadays we can't do without such gadgets as mobile phones, PCs, digital tape recorders, air conditioners, fax machines and so on.
4. Many people feel ill without their laptop, computers or GPS navigation systems. Today, of course, they are everywhere and we have become so dependent on them that many people almost feel naked without one.
5. It is much easier to do housework nowadays, thanks to electric equipment such as microwave ovens, washing machines and so on.
6. In my opinion, the mobile phone is a very useful device. Thanks to it, I can accesspeople I need to speak to and I cannever miss anything important. If I need some help, I just call my friends and they rush to rescue me.
7. If I have a meeting and I'm late, I can send an SMS with my excuses. It is very fast and convenient. What is more, with the help of my mobile phone I can accessthe Internet, send and receive photos and video, play games, listen to music and so on.
8. Speaking about the Internet, I can also use my computer. Computers help us do the most difficult sums and investigate complicated data. People do business, communicate and do the shopping via the Internet.
9. However, many people say that technology makes us lazier and weaker.
10. For example, such technological developments as the telephone and the Internet have made communication much easier, but they can cause the loss of social interaction. A lot of people prefer communicating through a keyboard than face to face.

1. Environment is the place where we live, including the air, food, water, plants, animals and other.
2. We live in the 21st century when there a lot of ecological problems because of human beings actions.
3. There are a lot of serious environmental problems such as air pollution, water pollution, nuclear pollution, litter, noise and many others.
4. There are many factories that throw wasteand pollute rivers and seas. The most dangerous and unpleasant of them is the destructionof wildlife. A lot of wild animals die every day because of the pollution.
5. People use plenty of chemicals that destroy the ozone layer. All these facts have a bad influence on our health. More and more people suffer from allergies and breathing problems.
6. The protection of the environment is a universal concern. Some progress has been made in this direction.
7. Many people belong to Green organizations in countries all over the world. Groups like "Green Peace" have already helped to stop some animals hunting but there are so many things to be done on our planet.
8. Many countries have some programmes to reduce traffic such as tuk-tuks - rickshaws , bikes, river taxis, electric cars.
9. Governments try to make our planet cleaner: to recyclewaste materials, to protect rare animals and plants, to install antipollution equipment and so on.
10. But if people want to survive and have a future for their children they also must take care of nature and the environment.
11. Everyone can help.
12. Everyone can do many simple things to protect our home.
13. Don't throw away bottles, newspapers, etc. Take them to a bottle bank or newspaper bank, and then they can be recycled (used again).
14. We have to avoid using aerosol cans.
15. We need to plant more trees.
16. People must not waste (use badly) resources such as water, gas. We have to save them.
17. Either we stop killing the Earth or we kill ourselves.
