The Moon is the third and largest terrestrial planet.

Our planet formed 4.54 billion years ago from the solar nebula.

Life on the Earth exists because of ozone layer and magnetic field blocks harmful solar radiation.

Of outer surface is covered with salt-water oceans beneath which there is liquid mantel, solid outer and inner core.

Our planet interacts with such planets as the Sun and the Moon. Because of this interaction we have such phenomena as seasonal variations, tides and other.

The Moon rotates around the Sun and around its axis.
