Talking about films 13

The movies are truly an art of our time. It is the greatest aesthetic and educational force in the world today. The invention of the photography in 1828 played a very important role in the development of the cinema. 1895 became the year when the cinema was born. After the brothers Lumier had invented the cinematography, the cinema widely spread all over the world. The first movie theatres appeared in 1904. And in 1907 the literature works started to be widely used for the movie scripts. The movies are a powerful force in contemporary life. Cinema is also used for educational purposes. Video classes are useful when studying geography, foreign languages and many other subjects. They are also the means of getting acquainted with the world. With the help of documentary and science films one can get much information about the world around. The news on TV helps to know what happens in the world each day. It also helps to attract the attention of people to different important problems, such as hunger, earthquakes, water pollution and so on.The cinema is also the means of entertainment. Movies play an important role in my life and of course I like to go to the cinema. As for me it is an available popular form of art, I find visiting cinemas is one ofthe best ways of spending my free time. And everyone can choose his favorite genre of film. There are such genres of feature films like a thriller, a musical, adrama and a comedy. To my mind movies extend our knowledge about people, about the world we live. Everyone knows that we live in a very difficult timenowadays..I love movies so it is quite hard for me to choose my favourite.I think the one that impressed me the most is “Gone with the Wind”. As it is seen from the title the film was based on the Margaret Mitchell’s novel with the same name. The film was premiered on December 15, 1939 in Atlanta, where the main action of the film takes place. The film won 8 Oscars and it remained a record for a long time. The action dates back to 1861, to the eve of the Civil War in America. On the cotton plantation called Tara a young girl Scarlett is in love with her neighbour Ashley. Scarlett is amazingly beautiful, strong and purposeful. She learns Ashley is going to merry another girl. This news overshadows even the upcoming war. Scarlett’s father explains she will find a more appropriate boy to merry. The War breaks all the plans. Ashley goes to the front. Scarlett’s joy is gone. This cute and a little naive girl has no idea what difficulties and trials the fate has prepared for her. The war makes her stronger and more courageous. After a while Scarlett meets another love, Captain Rhett Butler. It is a confrontation of feelings and characters. But it is a true love, which is sure to overcome all obstacles and teach patience and understanding between those who want to love and be loved. The film depicts an example of true feelings and a strong-willed female character. These two issues attract viewing audience. But the reason why I especially like the film is its starring actors. They are Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable. These famous Hollywood actors gave a wonderful performance of their characters of Scarlet O’Hara and Rhett Butler. And there is no doubt that a good film gives us an excellent entertainment..

FILMS AND STORIES 3/

3. The creativity runs rampant in Pixar’s “Inside Out,” producing brilliant representations of universal notions, given life through brightly colored, exceptionally perceptive (and personable) animations. Though infinitely inventive, “Inside Out” ironically (and arguably) doesn’t generate quite the same level of heartfelt emotion found in Pixar’s very best (the most sympathetic entity in this film just might be an imaginary one). But the screentime is shrewdly split amongst numerous characters of varied and magnified attributes, as well as between two separated, parallel storylines – for a keenly cinematic balancing act of insight and understanding.

When Riley Anderson was born, the emotion Joy (Amy Poehler) stood alone in the “headquarters” of her mind. But soon, other emotions appeared, including Sadness (Phyllis Smith), Fear (Bill Hader), Disgust (Mindy Kaling), and Anger (Lewis Black). As Riley aged, Joy and the other emotions learned to work together to bring balance to both her memories and the branching islands of the young girl’s personality.

At age eleven, Riley’s life is uprooted by a family move from their Minnesotan hometown to a drab apartment building in San Francisco – prompting her emotions to work overtime to alleviate the situation. While governing – then quarreling over – a disastrous episode on the first day of school, Joy and Sadness are accidentally transported to the outer regions of Riley’s long-term memory, forcing the duo to attempt a perilous journey across the expanses of her mazelike mind in order to return to the command center before the other emotions lead the dispirited girl permanently astray.

“Inside Out” boasts a nearly nonstop onslaught of mindboggling creativity – all while cartoonishly visualizing the relatable traumas of normal childhood. In many ways, it approaches the human mind like Woody Allen does in his reflective ensembles, filled with overabundant negative emotions that make simple enjoyment a rather difficult undertaking – spiraling down into a rabbit hole of neurotic, frenetic, vivid concoctions. The endlessly fascinating concepts may borrow a thing or two from “Minority Report,” “Despicable Me,” the “Little Big Planet” video games, and Rube Goldberg, but just tackling fleeting notions of brain freezes, dreams, fading memories, abstract thoughts, the subconscious, and the fear of clowns is absolutely inspired.

The whole picture is routinely smile-inducing, crafting the perfect blend of comedy, action, and sentimentality, as Pixar is widely known for. It’s also smartly aimed at adults as much as children – or even more so, as evidenced by a witty reference to “Chinatown” that kids will definitely miss. And, refusing to skimp on any aspect, the music is once again sensationally composed by Pixar regular Michael Giacchino, who has a way with striking up unforgettable tunes. As an intuitive exploration of maturation and the complexities of the mind, “Inside Out” is staggeringly artistic; and as a feel-good, family-friendly misadventure stocked with moral and emotional revelations, it’s a visionary piece of grand entertainment. Pixar has always been a studio to set the bar high, and “Inside Out” does not disappoint.

STORIES. CHARACTER AND PLOT 7/

A film, also called a movie, motion picture or photoplay, is a series of still images which, when shown on a screen, creates the illusion of moving images due to the phi phenomenon. This optical illusion causes the audience to perceive continuous motion between separate objects viewed rapidly in succession. A film is created by photographing actual scenes with a motion picture camera; by photographing drawings or miniature models using traditional animation techniques; by means of CGI and computer animation; or by a combination of some or all of these techniques and other visual effects. The word "cinema" is often used to refer to the industry of films and filmmaking or to the art of filmmaking itself. The contemporary definition of cinema is the art of simulating experiences to communicate ideas, stories, perceptions, feelings, beauty or atmosphere by the means of recorded or programmed moving images along with other sensory stimulations.

Preceding film in origin by thousands of years, early plays and dances had elements common to film: scripts, sets, costumes, production, direction, actors, audiences, storyboards, and scores. Much terminology later used in film theory and criticism apply, such as mise en scène (roughly, the entire visual picture at any one time). Owing to the lack of any technology for doing so, the moving images and sounds could not be recorded for replaying as with film. So my favorite film is Focus.

Focus is a 2015 American romantic comedy-drama film written and directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa. Starring Will Smith,Margot Robbie, and Rodrigo Santoro, the film was released on February 27, 2015.

The official slogan: It's about distraction. It's about focus. The brain is slow and it can't multitask.

What about this film?

Seasoned con-man Nicky Spurgeon (Will Smith) goes to a nightclub, where an inexperienced grifter, Jess Barrett (Margot Robbie), seduces him, and then pretends they've been caught by her jealous husband. When the deception fails, Nicky advises them never to lose focus when faced with unexpected situations. Jess finds him in another nightclub a few days later and convinces Nicky to become her mentor by detailing all information she acquired on him. Nick takes Jess to New Orleans, where she is introduced to Nicky's crew. First, the scammer requests the girl small job, but she begins to insist that it was ready for serious adventures. And soon Nicky and Jess develop a romantic relationship. After some hesitation, Nikki admits that soon he and his team will take up a truly impressive job, after which you can forget about the criminal world, and begin to live happily. The boys begin preparations for the "robbery of the century", and while Jesse ohmuryaet "big fishes", Nikki realizes that he is quite like it, and he really jealous of his charming ward. After that "big fishes" Nicky Jess gives his share, but reluctantly sends her, leaving her with a broken heart. Three years later, Nicky is in Buenos Aires, working for billionaire motorsport team owner Rafael Garriga. Here meets Jesse. Nicky begins pursuing Jess again, and they eventually rekindle their relationship. Once again they began their relationship, they had to fool everyone to get away from this life continue to be together and live happily.

Мy impressions of the movie

Never interfere with personal and work is not necessary. Never allow the romance with that and where you earn money. This rule is known to many. But not many people manage to resist. After all, when love comes to romance, not everyone have the strength to resist and tell her decisive "no". Hero of the main picture to the rule of no exception. It is not exactly revered the law, but rather at all indifferent to it. And in the field of fraud it is not equal. When a person is able to do it perfectly, there comes a time when there are new, which he wants to teach, to transmit all the knowledge accumulated over life. This is not just fascinating, but also a natural human desire. But romance is contraindicated more than helpful. Rascal topper in this picture did so he had the protection of the fraudster starts. Rather, it's a girl. And very attractive. The training "process" is so fascinated by the hero, that he did not have time to notice how love comes. It is mixed with business, is interwoven with it rather disturbing, rather than moving it to success. And although the picture - this comedy with a touch of adventure, some of the provisions and the cases were sharp enough. And it was very interesting to see how a couple of them will get out.

PARTNERS. TALKING ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS11/

Relationships are how we relate to others. We have relationships with everyone we know and those who are close to us. Each and every interaction we have with another person is the act of relating. If we have a problem relating to others, it affects our ability to have supportive relationships. We have to ask ourselves if our relationships are supportive, and if they are not, then ask why they are not.

Everyone wants the perfect romance or marriage, but not everyone looks at the mechanics of how to have one. If we fail to have supportive relationships in our life, how can we have the "perfect love" relationships? Through the act of supporting, we honour and validate who the other person is.

This is turn, validates who we are. So, both are supported; no one loses; no egos are involved; and, so doing, we honour the relationship.

This is what it means to have a supportive relationship. This is the desired goal. Now, how do we accomplish it?

Our conduct patterns, 'positive' or 'negative' get set as we grow up. In order to clear a problem, one must identify the original cause which created a behavioral pattern, move through the experience of that situation and experience the emotions associated with it.

The healing process is a time when we must be loving to the self. If we beat up the self about the experience which had caused us harm or our past reaction to it, then we cannot heal. In being loving to the self, we validate what we had experienced at that time.

Our emotions are always valid. So, it is important for us to do this self-validation in order to heal.

Love is the energy which helps us heal-whether we give this love to ourselves or receive it from another.

Loving relations start with the self. When we look at having supportive relationship in our life, why not start with the self?

Because that is where love comes from. This is what transforms our relationships and our lives. We must love the self first. And we cannot do that until we have healed and become whole. Spiritually we must rise, and our spiritual quotient must be high.

For, it is not about what we can receive from love, but what we can contribute or give to love. The more we give, the more are the returns.

MY FAVORITE SPORT. 9/

Sport plays an important role in our life. Everyone who wants to be healthy and keep fit should go in for sports. There is a good English proverb that saying: “If we are healthy, we are wealthy”. It’s essential to do sports regularly not once in a while, only then it improves our health, gives us joy, pleasure and satisfaction. That is why I believe Physical Education is a useful school subject. At the lessons children play different games such as volleyball and basketball. In winter they go skiing if there is enough snow. Pupils also take part in various competitions and those who show the best results become winners. The sport helps to bring up physically strong, courageous, strong-willed and energetic people.

People who are interested in sports can be roughly divided into two following groups: those who like doing sports and those who prefer watching sport events or competitions.

The first group includes people who prefer to take part in competitions, do morning exercises regularly and train themselves in different clubs and sections. The second group is more numerous and consists of people who like just watching competitions and sports games, listening to sports news and interesting stories about sportsmen. They do not go in for sports.

As about me, I prefer doing sport and do it regularly. The main reason is that by nature I’m an active person and I can't stand or sit for hours doing nothing. The second reason – I’m a firm believer in benefits sport brings us.

Nowadays most people have a sedentary lifestyle, which can have ill effects on their health. And the single way to be healthy is to keep fit and do sports.

My favorite sport is swimming. To go swimming is the best way for destressing and taking away our daily life tiredness. I attend the pool several times a week, but I prefer to rest on the river or the lake and swim there.

I think all people must care of their state of health and do sport regularly.

In conclusion I’d like to say that there are summer and winter sports. In summer we all enjoy badminton, cycling and camping and in winter these are hockey, skating and skiing. So, there is an activity to choose for everyone. In my opinion, it’s necessary for people of all ages to go in for sports.
