1.The bones form the skeleton of the body. The most important part of the skeleton is the backbone.

2.Naturalists divided animals into two classes – vertebrate animals and invertebrate animals.

3. The bones of the body include the bones of the head, the bones of the trunk, the bones of the lower and upper limbs.

4. At the upper end of the backbone there is the skull. The bones of the head include the skull, and freely movable bone which forms our lower jaw.

5. The bones of the trunk include the spinal column, the ribs and the breastbone.

6. The ribs form protect the heart and the lungs.

7. In the wrist there are eight small bones. They are bound together, but their large number allows the wrist to bend freely.

8. Thus we have twenty-seven bones in the framework of the hand and wrist alone.

2.Натуралисты разделили животных на два класса – позвоночных животных и беспозвоночных животных.

3. К костям тела относятся кости головы, кости туловища, кости нижних и верхних конечностей.

4. На верхнем конце позвоночника находится череп. Кости головы включают в себя череп и свободно подвижную кость, которая образует нашу нижнюю челюсть.

5. Кости туловища включают позвоночник, ребра и грудину.

6. Форма ребер защищает сердце и легкие.

7. В запястье есть восемь маленьких костей. Они связаны вместе, но их большое количество позволяет запястью свободно сгибаться.

8. Таким образом, мы имеем двадцать семь костей только в рамках кисти и запястья.

1.Башкирский государственный медицинский университет был основан в 1932 году.

2. В нашем университете действуют 5 факультетов – факультет общей медицины, стоматологический факультет, фармацевтический факультет, педиатрический факультет, факультет профилактической медицины.

3. Учебный план первого курса включает такие доклинические предметы, как Анатомия, Биология, Химия, Физика, гистология, латынь, английский язык и другие.

4. В конце первого и второго курсов студенты проходят практический курс, где они выполняют обязанности медсестер.

5. У студентов есть все условия для их жизни и учебы. В нашем университете есть четыре общежития, много лабораторий, библиотека, читальни, столовая.

6. Учебный год делится на два семестра. можно. После каждого семестра студенты сдают экзамены и проходят несколько зачетных тестов.

Our University

Bashkir State Medical University was founded in 1932. It trains doctors of different specialties.

There are 5 faculties in our university – the faculty of general medicine, the faculty of dentistry, the faculty of pharmacy, the faculty of pediatrics, the faculty of preventive medicine.

The first-year curriculum includes such pre-clinical subjects as Anatomy, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Histology, Latin, English and others. Anatomy is the most important subject of the first year.

During the first two years the students get acquainted with the structure of the human body, the functions of different organs and all the processes which take place in the body.

From the third year medical students begin to study clinical subjects such as general surgery, pharmacology, internal diseases, eye diseases, traumatology, orthopedics and psychiatry.

The students have all facilities for their life and study. There are four hostels, a lot of laboratories, a library, reading-rooms, canteen in our university.

Every day students attend practical classes and lectures. They perform different laboratory works. There are two terms in the first year. Each term lasts for about 16-19 weeks.

The academic year is divided into two terms. After each term the students take examinations and have several credit tests.

At the end of the first and second years, students have a practical course, where they perform the duties of nurses. After their fourth and fifth years they work as doctor’s assistant at the department of internal diseases, obstetrics, surgical department.

At the end of the sixth year, students take a final state examination and get their diploma, which certifies them as doctors. After receiving a diploma, students can take three-five year residency course.

The cardiovascular system is the system of blood circulation. The cardiovascular system includes the heart, the arteries, the veins and the capillaries of the human body.

The center of the circulatory system is the heart

3. How many chambers does the heart have?

The heart has four chambers: two ventricles and two auricles, or atrium.

4. What do the left and the right heart do?

The right heart receives blood from the veins and pumps it into the lungs.

From the left heart the well-oxygenated blood moves into the aorta.

5. Name two valves in the heart.

The left heart has the mitral valve.The right heart has the tricuspid valve.

6. Which types of vessels do you know?

There are 4 main types of blood vessels: the arteries,the arterioles, the veins, the venules.

7. What is the blood?

The blood is a red fluidthat mainly consists of plasma, leucocytes, lymphocytes and erythrocytes.
