Airports of Kazakhstan.
According to the Civil Aviation Committee, to date, the country has 20 operating airports, 15 of them are admitted to the airports servicing international flights, and 10 are categorized according to ICAO standards.
Astana Airport is air harbor of the capital. Before the capital was moved to Astana, the airport was typical regional airport. From 2002 to 2005 it was carried out large-scale international airport reconstruction project. February 2, 2005 the grand opening of the new passenger terminal building. According to the official website of the airport runway airport is able to receive all types of aircraft without limitation.

The largest airport in Kazakhstan is Almaty Airport, which occupies first place in the country for domestic and international passenger and cargo air transportation. Fly intensity reaches 12-15 takeoff and landing operations per hour, 160-180 per day.
