The Universal Intelligence Test (UIT SPb - Ch)



St. Peterburg - Chelyabinsk Universal Intelligence Test has 4 alternate forms. It is a battery of tests designed to measure general aptitude. It is destined for people from 13 years old, exept mentally deficients. There are 11 sections on the test:

1. Knowledge. This section measure an individual retention, amount of information and extent of knowledge.

2. Embedded Figures. It tests the ability of field independence.

3. Sentence completion. This questions test the ability to understand and interpret reading incomplete sentences and choose the best way to complete them.

4. Arithmetic test. It measure some mathimatical skills.

Concept mastery test.

6. Conformities and exceptions. It tests thinking flexibility and ability to find conformities in group of graphic pictures.

7. Analogies tests the understanding of the relationships among words and ideas.

8. Sequences of numbers. This section measure ability to find conformity to natural laws.

9. Conclusions It measure ability to deduce.

10. Geometric figures building. It tests the spatial aptitude.

Juvenile Intelligence Test (JIT SPb - Ch)

Juvenile Intelligence Test has such scales as scales of UIT Spb - Ch. But these subtests are adopted for children of 9,5 - 15 years old by means of difficulty decrement and cutting down the number of items in each subtest.
