OnthepossiblebankruptcyofthecompanybecameknowninearlyOctober 2015 afterlong-termfinancialproblemswiththecarrier.

InconnectionwiththebankruptcyofTransaero, September 1, 2015, aneventwasequallyexpectedandimprobable.
At a meetingwithFirstDeputyPrimeMinisterIgorShuvalov, itwasdecidedthatAeroflotwouldbuy 75% plusoneshareofTransaero. TransaeroAirlineshasconfirmedtheforthcomingconsolidationdealwithAeroflot, whichwillcreateoneoftheworld'slargestairtransportgroups.
Thetransactionamountwas 1 ruble.
