Articulation of the diphthong [au]. Start with an open jaw position, a relaxed tongue and relaxed lips; the sound is made in the front of the mouth, like in [a:] vowel. Then the jaw closes and the lips come forward, the tongue rises at the back of the mouth for [u] as in "book".
