Dissertation is devoted to the problem of visual rehabilitation in children with monocular traumatic cataracts. The elaborated method of endocapsular IOL implantation, gives stable bagal implantation at the damage of anterior capsule. Elaborated technique of iridodialysis repairing has been allowed to repair iridodialysis without additional traumatization. Axial length growth of both eyes (pseudophakic and healthy one) have been analyzed for 96 children in the remote period of supervision up to 3 years. Some tendency was marked an increase of pseudophakic eye axial length as compared to the healthy, however, in any supervision term these distinctions were not reliable (p=0,71). The analysis of eyes growth showed that the carried surgical operation hasn’t slowed the rates of pseudophakic eyes growth. Elaborated method of IOL power choice in monocular cataract for children, based on formation of slight myopia to 2,5D on pseudophakic eye. The visual rehabilitation of children with postoperative myopic refraction showed better results, as compared to other refraction types consisting in visual acuity restoring for far (0,3-1,0) in 95,1%, for near (0,4-1,0) in 57,4% and binocular vision in 72% of children.
