Archimedes was born in Syracuse, on the island of Sicily, in 287 В. С. in the family of an astronomer. Since his childhood he enjoyed inventing mechanical devices.
Once a goldsmith made a gold crown for the king. But the king wondered if the smith had not added silver or copper instead of the gold. He ordered Archimedes to determine if the crown was pure gold without damaging it. Thinking the problem over Archimedes discovered the principle of displacement. From this he deduced the laws of buoyancy and specific gravity*** Archimedes filled a vessel with water, placed the crown in it and measured the volume of the water displaced. Then he did the same thing with an equal weight of pure gold. The volume of displaced water was smaller. The gold in the crown had been mixed with a lighter metal. The smith had been proved dishonest.
The discoveries of Archimedes have become part of mankind's heritage. He showed that it was possible to apply a scientific mind to the problems of everyday life.
Our planet Earth is only a tiny part of the universe, and it is so far the only place where human beings can live.
We always polluted our surroundings. But until now pollution was not such a huge problem. People lived in the countryside and couldn’t produce such amount of pollution that would lead to a dangerous situation on a global scale.
With the development of industrial cities, which create huge amounts of pollutants, the problem has become real. Nowadays our planet is in serious danger. Global warming, acid rains, air and water pollution, overpopulation are the problems that threaten human lives on the Earth.
Every year world industry pollutes the air that we breathe with. A great number of cities suffer from smog. Rainforests are cut down. Their disappearance upsets the oxygen balance. As a result, some rare species of animals, birds, fish and plants are extinct. A lot of seas, rivers and lakes are filled with poison like industrial and nuclear wastes, chemical fertilizers and pesticides. The pollution of air and the world's ocean, destruction of the ozone layer is the result of man's careless interaction with nature, a sign of the ecological crisis.
People should consider their attitude to the environment. Some progress has already been made in this direction. Numerous conferences have been held by a lot of agencies to discuss problems facing ecologically poor regions
What can we do to save our planet? First of all, people should switch to alternative forms of power, such as solar power or wind power. Secondly, the use of atomic power must be banned. Thirdly, we need to recycle. It’s the art of turning waste into new products. It would be a good idea if people started riding bicycles instead of driving cars. We are obliged to protect nature. If everybody cares, it will make a difference.

The topic of my dissertation "the study of the efficiency of wind power plants of low power."
The purpose of the thesis: consideration of increasing the coefficient of wind energy. In addition, the design of a highly efficient wind power plant corresponding to the climate and geographical conditions of Kazakhstan.
Wind power is an energy industry engaged in the development of theoretical foundations, methods and technical means of converting wind energy into mechanical, thermal or electrical energy. He considers the possibility of rational use of wind energy in the national economy. In order to find cheap sources of electricity in the country, in accordance with the state program "on the development of electricity production in Kazakhstan until 2030", effective ways of using electricity generated by wind energy in the national economy are considered. In Kazakhstan, the electricity generated by wind energy can be widely and abundantly produced. In all regions of the Republic there is sufficient wind power.
The main objective of wind energy is to minimize the cost of electricity generated from wind power plants in order to be competitive with conventional energy
Today, wind power is one of the most promising renewable energy sources, clean, which provides attractive opportunities for many people, including investors and entrepreneurs.
