Some people think that if you want to get а good education, you should go abroad.

Studying abroad has great appeal for many people. Every year thousands of students go to

foreign countries in order to participate in study-abroad programs. But is studying abroad

worth the time and cost?

In my opinion, there are numerous advantages of studying in а foreign country. Firstly, those

who study abroad have а chance to learn а second language or to enhance а language already

learned. Secondly, immersion in а foreign culture helps students broaden their horizons. They

can meet new people and experience new traditions. What is more, an international education

opens employment opportunities in many countries and markets. Employers often give

preference to students with overseas experience because of their knowledge, flexibility and

understanding of other cultures.

However, some people believe that it is better to study in one's own country for various

reasons. First of all, studying abroad may bе very expensive because some countries charge full

price for foreign students. Secondly, because of the language barrier and culture shock,

students who study in а foreign country often have to deal with added stress to their studies.

But I think that even though you may spend much money to receive а solid education abroad,

you will earn it back because people with an international education usually have а lot of job

options and high salaries. Besides, some study-abroad programs are sponsored bу the student's

school.

То conclude, studying abroad offers а valuable experience and widens cultural horizons. It is

especially beneficial for those who look for employment in foreign countries or in multinational

organizations. То my mind, studying in another country is an exciting experience that almost

everyone would like to have.

In my opinion, one of the main advantages of studying in another country is the opportunity to meet new people. For example, you can meet people from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds, not just those from the country you are studying in. Another advantage is that you can get a degree from a university with an international reputation. In other words, you can use this experience to help you get a job in the future. Advantages: Programmes are often better than those in your own country. (A foreign university/college may have more advanced materials and/or teaching techniques.)

Being abroad can help you find new interests. (A foreign country often offers many new activities which may not be available in your own country.)

One disadvantage is the fact that you will not be near the people who support you, such as your friends and family. This means you may find it difficult at times on your own. Another problem is that the language spoken in the country might be hard to understand or use. For instance, someone might be able to use the language as a tourist but it is much more difficult to write long essays and to read academic books in another language. Disadvantages: Studying abroad can be very expensive.

(For example, there may be expenses you wouldn’t have to cover in your own country, such as accommodation.) A student may find that they do not ‘fit in’. (Different cultures mean different habits, and students may find it hard to live with these, or to live without certain habits from their own country.)

University education should be free to everyone, regardless of income ( независимо от дохода ).

Over recent years, more and more people have been attending university and arguments have persisted as to whether students should pay for this privilege not. Although there are convincing arguments on both sides, I strongly believe that it should be free.

One argument put forward in favour of charging students is that education is becoming more expensive to fund as universities grow in size. Consequently, making students pay may maintain standards and ensure the quality of the teaching. In addition, it is argued that most students benefit from university in terms of higher paid jobs, so it is fair that they pay for at least some of the cost, especially given that the majority of students attending university are from the middle classes. Last but not least, in many countries, there is a shortage of people to do manual jobs such as plumbing and carpentry, so making university more expensive may encourage people to take up these jobs.

However, there are a number of arguments in favour of making university education free for all. Firstly, it will encourage more people to attend and this will benefit society. This is because it will lead to a more productive and educated workforce. Research has generally shown that those countries that have a better educated population via university have higher levels of innovation and productivity. In addition, there is the issue of equality of opportunity. If all students are required to pay, those on a low income may be dissuaded from attending, thus making it unfair. The reason for this is that they will likely not be able to secure financial support from their family so they will be concerned about the debts they will incur in the future.

In conclusion, I am of opinion that all education should remain equally available to all regardless of income. This is not only fair, but will also ensure that countries can prosper and develop into the future with a well-educated workforce.
