Summary. The article presents a systematic psychological analysis of the role of emotional-volitional regulation in the process of overcoming social fears in the period of late adolescence. The interrelation of emotional and volitional processes is presented, as a special mental education, directed not only at the regulation of emotional states, but also at their active transformation. The role of emotional-volitional regulation in resolving a motivational conflict in a situation of experiencing social fears is considered.
