«Tiflopedagogics»

Tiflopedagogics (from Greek τυφλός — blind and pedagogics) — science about education and training of persons with sight violation — is part of the general pedagogics and one of sections of defectology.

Tiflopedagogics is part of defectology. The defectology can be defined as integrative science, on a joint of pedagogics, psychology and medicine, dealing with issues of studying, education and training of the person with deviations in development. It includes blocks of medicobiological and psychology and pedagogical sciences which integrate the knowledge gained in the spheres, for the sake of one purpose — education of the person with deviations in development.

In modern conditions it is possible to divide conditionally defectology into doctrines about studying, education and training of different categories of people with deviations in development. One of such doctrines is the tiflologiya which unites the medicobiological and psychology and pedagogical sciences dealing with issues of studying, training and education of children with sight violations. Among these sciences it is possible to call ophthalmology, neuropathology, psychiatry, neurophysiology (medicobiological sciences); tiflopsikhologiya, tiflopedagogics (psychology and pedagogical sciences).

The key place in a tiflologiya is taken by tiflopedagogics. On justification of adequate ways and methods of pedagogical influence which are realized in tiflopedagogics, all listed medicobiological and psychological sciences are directed.

«Gander, Vladimir Aleksandrovich (on March 12, 1864 — on January 10, 1939) — the Russian visual impairment specialist.»

V. A. Gander was born in Kiev on March 12, 1864. He got vocational pedagogical education. Since 1886 begins the pedagogical activity in the Sosnitsky district normal school of the Chernigov province.

From the very beginning of the pedagogical activity V. A. Gander draws public attention to situation blind with performances, exhibitions, articles in the press. Thanks to its activity it was succeeded to collect the considerable sums on construction of new buildings in schools for blind in which it worked as the inspector. He will organize census blind in the Kharkov province that allows to obtain scientific data on number blind, their age, existence sources, a social status.

V. A. Gander criticizes a position of the western tiflopedagogics in relation to blind as to object of guardianship and the person depending on philanthropy, he said that blind is the full citizen in public and private life. He fought for allocation of group visually impaired, opening of classes and schools for visually impaired children.

V. A. Gander conducts active editorial and publishing. He did a great job on creation of textbooks, and also extensive library of literature for blind according to Braille, methodical literature for teachers of high school for the blind. It translated and edited works of the leading western visual impairment specialists and tiflopsychologists. V. A. Gandera one of founders of domestic tiflopedagogics allows to call the above-mentioned.

Logopedics

Logopedics — special pedagogical science about violations of the speech, ways of their prevention, identification and elimination by means of special training and education. Is one of sections of special pedagogics. The logopedics studies the reasons, mechanisms, symptomatology, a current, structure of violations of speech activity, system of correctional influence.

Traditionally allocate violations of a sound pronunciation as options of violations of the expressional party of the speech. Psychological features stammering

Scientists of antiquity that is reflected in their works knew of the psychological features stammering. But this issue is touched in very few works and much more attention is paid to other aspects of stutter. Scientific antiquities in the mentions of the psychological features stammering wrote about use of mental precautions against stutter (Plutarch) and about the features of character stammering (Avicenna). [3]. In 19 century in works of many scientists who are engaged in stutter references to psychological features of the stammering are had. Scientists note prevalence of the mental sphere over others, speaking about the stutter reasons, note weakness of will, a depression and confusion (Merkel), prevalence of a lack of will as the reasons of stutter (Vineken), influence of the sincere disorders on a state stammering and on stutter (Becquerel, Otto, Bezel, Shrank, Diffenbakh, Blum, Colomba, Cohen, Laguzen). Hearing disorder

Hearing disorder — full (deafness) or partial (relative deafness) decline in the ability to find and understand sounds. From a hearing disorder any organism capable to perceive a sound can suffer. Surdopedagogika

Surdopedagogika (Latin surdus "deaf" + Greek paidagugikz "education art") — the section of audiology studying the problems arising during the training, education by deafs and patients (akupata) hard of hearing.

Essential changes of the relation to education of deaf-mutes resulted from activity founded in 1898, under the patronage of the empress Maria Fiodorovna Popechitelstva of the empress Maria about deaf-mutes. This charitable organization assumed functions of the central body which headed business of contempt, training and education of deaf-mutes. Guardianship had offices in many cities of Russia.

There are regional educational institutions for children with a hearing disorder. Despite small number and difficulties in their financing, there are examples of successful education of children with a hearing disorder. The special place among such institutions is taken by the Aleksandrovsk school farm for deaf-and-dumb children organized in 1898. Here active and purposeful educational work on training of children with a hearing disorder to life was conducted. The school farm consisted of kindergarten and school for deaf-mutes. On the farm a lot of earth was taken away under a garden, a kitchen garden, meteorological and biological stations. In school children mainly from country families were accepted. From spring to fall pupils worked in economy and it paid back the accommodation and training. Except economy on the earth of the farm the plant of agricultural cars and tools and printing house was constructed. Such device was aimed at providing further pupils of school farm and other deafs of Russia by workplaces. N. M. Logovsky managed a teaching department in school known surdopedagogik . In spite of the fact that social and economic conditions didn't allow establishment to develop further, experience of its organization is an important indicator of possibility of socialization of children with deviations in development.

N. N. Malofeyev notes great value of school farm for education and training of deaf-and-dumb children and, first of all, their social and pedagogical adaptation to future life.
