NEGATION

The formation of a negative sentence is: negation verb “ei” + negation stem of the main verb.

The stem for the negation is taken from 1st person singular: puhu/n > puhu > en puhu.

The negative word “ei” is conjugated in person:

 

Minд en puhu swahilia. Me emme puhu swahilia.

Sinд et puhu swahilia.   Te ette puhu swahilia.

Hдn ei puhu swahilia.    He eivдt puhu swahilia.
