Free Time. Hobbies

A hobby is something that people like to do when they are not busy and have some free time. Hobbies differ like tastes. If you have a hobby, you are lucky because your life becomes more interesting. Hobbies are divided into four large classes: doing things, making things, collecting things and learning things.
The most popular   hobby group is doing things. It is everything from gardening to travelling and from chess to volleyball.
Both grown-ups and children are fond of playing different computer games. This is a new hobby but it is becoming more and more popular.
Making things includes drawing embroidevy, painting, making sculptures, designing costumes, handicrafts, joinery, knitting.
Almost everyone collects something  inhis\her life: stamps, coins, matchboxes, books, records, postcards, toys, watches. People with a good deal of money often collect paintings, rare books and other objects of art.

No matter what kind of hobby a person has, you can learn a lot from it. Learning things can be the most exciting aspect of a hobby.

a) I think going to the theatre is a very good pastime. The atmosphere is always very different.Live music is always a bonus. And of course the acting is sometimes superb.The cinema has become part of the modern way of life. It is one of the best ways of spending leisure time

a) Nowadays there are a lot of activities, entertainments and hobbies run by people in their free time. You should decide it for yourself what you really enjoy doing in your free time. You can simply watch TV, listen to the music, go to the cinema or theatre, enjoy reading a good book. Or you can have a good time with your friends or family, play games, go to some sports clubs and do many other things. Hobbies differ like tastes and it’s up to you what to choose.

c) Contemporary music is not so bad as some parents can think. Their texts are actual, but sometimes sounds of music are better than the text of the song.

a) Both grown-ups and children are fond of surfing the Internet and playing different computer games. This hobby is becoming more and more popular nowadays. In my opinion parents are right. Childrenshould spend time on playing computer games as well as playing sport, reading and doing many other things.

You can give more information about your hobbies and interests:
