The greatest gift we can bestow on ourselves and the world today is the awakening of awareness in the presence of Every Breath. A conscious, attentive affirmation of our life force or Prana Shakti is the core of every spiritual practice.

Learn the Secrets of Prana Yoga with Dr. David Frawley & Yogini Shambhavi, transforming your Yoga Shakti celebration of Yoga, Ayurveda, Meditation, Mantra, Ritual and sacred arati on the banks of the Ganga. Create and empower a 10x10 foot Shakti Yantra with a zillion flower petals.  Imbibe the energy of the Supreme Shakti in the Light of Supreme Shiva.

We are blessed with three very auspicious dates during our GangaYoga Shakti celebrations –

March 14 –Meena Sankranti

March 16 – Chaitra Amavasya

March 17 – Ugadi

Ugadi is considered to be the most auspicious and sacred time to start on a new venture or sadhana or spiritual practice. The festival of Ugadi heralds the beginning of a new astronomical cycle or New Year. Ugadi comes from two words, 'Yuga' meaning 'era', and 'aadi' means 'the beginning’. Ugadi is believed to be the day when Brahma - the Creator, in the Hindu Trinity - formed the universe. It’s also the time when Spring is ushered in heralding new beginnings and sankalpa (sacred intents).

The most significant fact about the festival of Ugadi is the fact that the festival comes with a very important and relevant message for all to remember throughout their lives. All the experience that you have, good or bad must be treated with absolute equanimity. Whatever happens throughout the year must be taken up calmly and faced gracefully. People should learn to rise above the happiness and sorrows, failure and success.
