January 2, 2018

Hello loves! Hope you’re all having a great start to the new year! It feels great, doesn’t it? I’m currently working on a recap of 2017 but wanted to post this diary post from our days in Copenhagen. As you’ve maybe seen on the other posts I was in Sweden with my family, we started in Stockholm for some days, then drove towards Uppsala where we spent Christmas in the cosiest little snow village, after that we drove all the way down south to Helsingborg where we stopped for a quick coffee and hugs at my childhood friends place and later continued down to Malmö where we met my granddad and stayed over at some friends from Mallorca for two nights. To end the trip we took the train over the bridge to Copenhagen where we stayed for two days. Just love Copenhagen!

First thing we did was to have a take away coffee at Kafferiet, I’ve done that every time I visit the city and it’s become a little tradition, and as always, coffee first! The second thing we wanted to do was to have some Smørrebrød, a traditional Danish dish that is just too yummy to be true! I love the one with fried fish, shrimps and lemon, but there’s lots of different varieties to try. We were recommended by our friends to visit Nyhavns Kroen in Nyhavn and we loved it, its cozy, traditional and with danish porcelain plates all over the walls, a nice place for lunch or dinner if you visit.

In the evening when it got dark we went to Tivoli, a theme park situated just in the middle of the city. I used to go there when I was a kid and was super excited to see it again, specially during Christmas time when they had the market and all the lights up. It was really beautiful to walk around, check out the stuff and drink some Glühwein before we went to Café Victor for a beer and music.

To finish the night we went to The Union Kitchen and ate some different tapas and drank some wine before we headed back to the hotel and ended the night. The morning after we had breakfast at 42Raw and spent the rest of the day walking around the city, did some more shopping and later headed to the airport and flew to Mallorca where we celebrated New Year!

It was a perfect Christmas vacation with so much love and quality time with my family and friends, just how it should be!

Have a wonderful rest of the day! Lots of love

Hello loves and Merry Christmas! I hope you’re having an amazing holidays with your families and friends, and lots of love and happiness! In Sweden we celebrate Christmas on the 24th which was yesterday, and today we just chill, eat the rest of the food, play games and watch movies, which is what we’re about to do right now :)

The day before yesterday we took the car up north from Stockholm to Dalarna where we met up with my family from my mums side, last time we celebrated together was 20 years ago, also the same Christmas where my parents and my cousins decided we should all go to live in Mallorca, which we did 5 months later. It’s so nice to spend some quality time with them all again! We are staying in the most beautiful little place with just some houses and beautiful landscape, we were lucky and got lots of snow and even some sunshine.

There is an old typical Swedish cabin where we celebrated Christmas as you can see on the photos, fully decorated with a tree and all! We had so much food, sang songs, danced around the Christmas tree and drank a lot of snaps, just how it should be!

Today we woke up and went to check out one of the guys bike collection, he has his own museum here showing bikes from late 1800 until now, very impressive! Love when people are so passionate!

Have a wonderful rest of the evening and Merry Christmas to all of you who celebrate today!

Hello loves and happy holidays! The other day I went up to Sweden where I’m going to spend Christmas with my family. I met up with them at the airport and spent the first two days in Stockholm where we met up with friends and had a little tourist time! I used to live in Stockholm when I studied high school, but it was 10 years ago and I haven’t been back since, so it was really nice to be back. I’ve totally fallen in love with this city again and definitely need to come back soon again! Right now we are in the car on our way up to Råsbo where we will celebrate Christmas and stay for some days with my mums side of the family, super exciting! But for now I thought I’d show you a bit of what we did the first day.

We walked around checking out he boats, had hot chocolate at Grand Hotel, checked out the ice skating at Kungsträdgården, did some christmas shopping and everything you do in a city :) In the even we took a little boat out to Fjäderholmarna where we had booked a christmas table, it was really cozy and we ate so much christmas food that we couldn’t take the first boat home so had to wait another hour, haha, it was just too good. The other days we had dinner at Milles, best food I’ve had in months, walked around in Gamla stan, went to the Christmas market at Stortorget, had cava in cute bars and walked over to Söder for beers and just had the cosiest time discovering Stockholm all over again.

Now time for Christmas! I wish you all the most wonderful holidays with your family, friends and love!

Ice skating in Amsterdam – my favourite part of our little trip! We went to Ice* Amsterdam early in the morning when they just opened up with the thought of taking some nice pictures, but it was so much fun that we ended up skating around for hours and didn’t stop until it got pretty packed. I haven’t ice-skated for so long and wasn’t sure I’d be so good at it but it’s a bit like skiing so there was no problem, it’s almost as fun too! Definitely have to go more often! Klemens was skating around as if he was born on skates, but he’s good at almost everything he does <3 :P

After dancing around on the ice we went into the little hut where we warmed up by the fire and drank some hot coffee, was in the mood for hot chocolate but needed the energy of a coffee. It felt just like we were on an after-ski with all the fun music and the atmosphere, and I love that it’s just in the middle of the city. A fun thing to do if you visit Amsterdam! We went back our last night for some glühwein and to finish our trip with some winterish mood!

Have a great evening loves!

Happy Wednesday loves and also happy Lucia which we celebrate in Sweden today! Not long until Christmas now, it’s starting to get stressful now before the end of the year, we’re only staying in Berlin for one more week then I’m off to Sweden with my family to celebrate Christmas and after I’m meeting Klemens in Mallorca for New Years and then we’ll probably stay there for some extra days in the sun…hopefully :) Need to finish everything that has to be done for the year, prepare all the gifts, plan the trips and prepare photos and posts for the days I’m separated from Klemens. But I love it, this time of the year is always so nice, its the end but also soon a new beginning, it’s exciting!

Here’s another post from Amsterdam, a lot of blue with my super cozy and very oversized sweater from H&M, I’m so in love with this blue colour and the pattern, H&M actually makes a lot of beautiful knits. In Amsterdam we visited our favourite coffee place there – Cafe van Leeuwen, I was always dreaming about their fries since we were there 4 years ago, unfortunately I didn’t eat their fries this time… even though I was there 3 times this time, well well, another reason to go back! Cafe van Leeuwen is so cozy, as you see on the pictures their building looks like from a fairy tale, you can sit downstairs or on top by the big windows, drink coffee, eat fries or apple pie, or other stuff ofc. YUM!

Now time to head into the city to pick up some clothes for a project, and later we’re off to the GQ bar opening! Will be fun! Have a great rest of the evening loves!

Hello loves! I hope you’ve all had a great weekend! Klemens and I just came back from Spain, it started off by me just going to visit my family but then we got a job in Ibiza, stayed some extra days in Ibiza, went back to Mallorca and kind of just stayed there for three weeks! We figured why go back to cold Berlin when we could stay in the heat? So that’s what we did, we had a little holiday / work-time, spent lots of time with my family and friends and just enjoyed the island! Therefor there’s been a lack of posts on the blog, but now we are back and have lots of posts prepared!

First stop in Ibiza was La Granja, we had a shooting with Marc O’Polo and this was the location, it’s absolutely breathtaking! One of the most beautiful and peaceful places I’ve been to. It was also my birthday so it was extra special and fun to be there :) We stayed some days and had time to also enjoy the place, eat nice food straight from the garden and take lots of photos.

La Granja is a guesthouse in the middle of the island with a big open space with a pool, bar, dining area and five bedrooms plus small freestanding guesthouses, the bedrooms are big and beautiful all in Iberian architecture and interior in wood, stone and slate, all in ash-grey and earthy colours. They have a restaurant which only serves the freshest and most yummy mediterranean food with ingredients taken straight from their garden where they grow their own vegetables and fruits.

We were lucky to arrive on a Friday when they had their party, apparently they have it every week where they bring out the DJ stand, opens up the bar and served dinner or tapas. There were lots of people and great music! Loved it! <3

This place is just a dream place, I’m in love with every single little detail, all the colours, the energy, the interior and the love they share. Had such an amazing time there and really hope to go back one day soon <3

Another post from our next destination on our Ibiza trip will be up soon!

Hello loves! Here are some pictures from our days in Marrakesh, as I mentioned in the previous post we went there for just some days to attend the Oasis festival but we also got some time to discover the beautiful city! We spent most of our time in the old town Medina just where the big market is. We got lost in the small little streets between all the little shopping stands, drank lemon juice with mint, saw hundreds of cats, looked at all the different rugs, pillows, shoes, bags, lamps and all the amazing things you can buy. We also went for a drink at Nomad where they have this beautiful view over the little market and also had lunch at Cafe Atay where I had the best quinoa salad I ever and sipped super yummy ginger juice! <3 Still dreaming about it!

We were supposed to head back to the festival but chose to stay in town, it gets even more beautiful in the evening when they turn on all the lights and the market is still on. The next day we went back down to buy some rugs that we had been checking out the evening before, we ended up getting a white one and a grey one, their wedding rugs are amazing full of sequences, I just love those sparkly little things so much!

I’ve read lots about Marrakesh and know there is so much to see and discover, sadly we only had some days this time but already planning our next trip! This place really stole my heart! <3

September 19, 2017

Hello loves, here are some pics from our weekend in Marrakesh. We went straight there from New York, such a contrast, both amazing in their own ways. We were invited by Crowd. to spend the weekend in a nice villa resort together with a group of lovely people attending the Oasis festival and exploring the beautiful city.

First day we went to Jardin Majorelle of YSL where we walked around the garden, checked out the different plants and drank some lemonade in the cute coffee place and got to know the sweetest girls Hannah, Iris and Lot. Afterwards we went back to have a little pool party/lunch in one of the villas, I love their food, so much couscous, lemon, mint and dates!

The schedule was quite tight so after lunch put on our floral Na-kd dresses, took some golf cars and drove to the golf club where we had a cocktail workshop. We all learnt and created different types of cocktails with Kaya tea, all tasted great, brought some shakers with me so now we’re ready for some cocktail parties!

To end the day we went to the Oasis festival and I was so amazed by all the coziness and effort put to make it so nice and beautiful. There were rugs everywhere on the ground, beautiful Moroccan lamps hanging in the trees, cozy rooftops on top of the little houses with lots of pillows, different food stands where people could eat and enjoy, also a little market where you could buy cute Moroccan souvenirs. Last but not least there were two big stages, one in front of a big pool where people were swimming where you saw the sunset…well the pictures speak for themselves. With the great DJ’s this was the perfect party place!

The day after Klemens and I went into old town of Marrakesh and I fell in love for real, but will show you all in another post

September 3, 2017

Hello again loves! We are finally done with our home-makeover and I love it! It’s crazy how different it is from before, a completely different room. But I have to say we did quite a lot, the wall made a huge different and also the colours are so different. Much darker, but it’s nice, I got quite tired of the all white home, now I can dress in all white instead and be in contrast to the room! ;)

The sofa arrived the other day and it’s perfect, exactly what we wanted…or exactly what Klemens wanted actually. I was thinking of something maybe more comfortable while he wanted something more stylish… in the end we found this one which is quite soft and I put my knitted blanket and a pillow and we’re on the same page!

Another piece that is new since our last interior post is the lamp which Klemens created and built last night. I love how simple it is and that the cable is yellow. Apart from that we also made some big prints of two of our photos, one from LA and one from New York, our favourite places and memories. The blue colours in the photos really work with the rug and the overall look of the room I think. We’re thinking of making some more of these prints, what do you think? :)

Now I really have to hurry because friends are coming over for dinner in 5 minutes, time to start cooking and later enjoy the sofa all together!

WEEKENDSeptember 3, 2017

Hey loves! Hope you’ve had a great weekend! The last days Bread & Butter has been up and running and we’ve had some fun at the venue watching shows, checking out new collections, had dinners and hanging out with old and new friends!

It’s finally September which means lots of fun will be coming up, now it’s time to pack our bags because on Tuesday we’re off to London for a super fun project and on Thursday we’re off to NEW YORK again! I’m so so so happy to be back to my favourite city and specially during fashion week. This time we will be staying just by Central Park which will be fun, last time we were in Williamsburg and it will be nice to wake up right in the middle :) Let’s see! Anyways, apart from having fun in Berlin the last days our new sofa also arrived, so of course we got super excited an continued with our home-makeover, so now it’s all done and tonight we’re having friends over for dinner to check it out! :D Yey!

NEW WALL & TABLEAugust 21, 2017

Hello loves! As mentioned in another post Klemens and I have been working on our home the last weeks while being in Berlin. We’ve wanted to make some changes for quite a while now but since we have hardly been at home at all we never had the time or energy, this month we decided to stay at home and finally fix it all!

This room used to be our bedroom and the only room we used, although we have three rooms (the rest were just storage rooms..yes, crazy!), so to create a “real” home we chose to move our bed to the smaller room as the bedroom and let this bigger room be the living room/work space. I’ll show you the other rooms in later posts.

First off we needed a table, we searched everywhere for the perfect one but couldn’t really find it, in the end we decided to make one ourselves – so we bought some floor planks from Bauhaus and put them together in two layers, so they overlapped and got this thick table. Afterwards we painted it with a greyish colour called Graphit and this is how it turned out! I love it, it’s exactly what we wanted!

The chairs which are super comfortable we got from Westwing and I also got a little fluffy blue/green fur-thing to get some colour into the room, since most is in earthy colours such as the rug that we got at Ikea.

The lamps is another thing we made ourselves, we found some similar ones that we wanted but we thought it would make more sense creating them ourselves…this project was a bit more complicated though and we kind of had an explosion at home because of the old electric system in the house, but after some work and installing a dimmer it is now perfect! Missing two bulbs though!

After all this there was still something missing, the wall! We found it too white with everything and a little boring actually, and one Sunday we came up with the idea of tearing the wallpaper down, so in the morning we tried tearing down a piece behind the sofa and it looked great underneath – so we just took it all down and voila, it fit perfectly and was just the right move that we needed.

The rest are just some decorations that we thew in, some more plants, my pink flamingo that I got in Sweden on my last trip there, a little bamboo candle lamp, a paperbag from H&M Home which we used for the plant and our new beach towel from Sea you soon that we hung up on the wall!

There are still some stuff missing but I’ll show you in the next update! :)
