План развития коммуникативного умения говорения

(6 класс)

Цель: формирование умения диалогической речи. К концу реализации плана учащиеся должны научиться вести диалог «В кафе/ресторане».

Задания разработаны для учащихся 6 класса, которые занимаются по УМК «Starlight».

Согласно требованиям ФГОС, по окончанию учебного года ученик 6 класса должен уметь:

• участвовать в беседе/дискуссии на знакомую тему;

• осуществлять запрос информации;

• обращаться за разъяснениями;

• выражать свое отношение к высказыванию партнера, свое мнение по обсуждаемой теме.

Объем диалогов — до 6—7 реплик со стороны каждого учащегося.

CONTROLLED SPEAKING

1. RIDDLES. There are some riddles try to guess them.

· It is a fruit. It is red or yellow, sometimes green. It is very tasty. Children like to eat it very much. (an apple)

· It is white. It is oval. It is good to eat for breakfast. It comes from a hen. (an egg)

· It's a drink. In Russia people usually drink it hot, but in some countries people drink it cold (tea).

· It is a drink. It is white. Children like to drink it. It comes from a cow. (milk)

· It's green and you have it in salad (cucumber).

· Monkeys like the yellow fruit (banana).

· Apples, bananas, plums are ... (fruits).

2. ODD. Find out the odd words. (Нахождение лишнего слова)

· Plate, cup, mug, glass, soup.

· Apple, coffee, banana, grapes, lemon.

· Milk, juice, tea, salad, lemonade.

· Ice-cream, cheese, sugar, butter.

3. TABLE. Divide the words into four columns. (Разбейте слова на 4 колонки)

5. GUESS! Now let’s play a little game. One student thinks about one food item. The others should guess it by asking questions like: Is it (+colour)? Is it big or small? Do kids like it? Is it cold or hot? and etc.

 

6. CARDS. Now each of you will take a card with one food item. And you will need to explain, why you’d like to buy it. So you start your sentence as “I’d like to buy … because…” Try to make your sentences sound funny! Cards: carrot, garlic, fish and chips, ice-cream, roast beef, boiled onion, broccoli, cauliflower, and etc.

7. PHRASES.Now let’s repeat after the speaker (ex 2(a) p 31).After each phrase a little discussion about possible answers for the questions and actions of both a waiter and a customer.

Phrases:

1. Are you ready to order or do you need a few more minutes?

2. I think we are ready.

3. Would you like any side orders?

4. And what would you like to drink?

5. I’d like a glass of orange juice, please. 

8. MINI-DIALOGUE.

1) Now we are going to watch a little video “In a Restaurant”. Your task is to write down phrases that we can use in a restaurant to order some food.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USJDd2J_2yY

2) Now let’s practice that little dialogue from the video. Let’s make 2 circles one in another (the amount of students in each circle should be equal). Now the outer circle will move every 30 seconds. During these 30 seconds the task for each pair is to repeat the dialogue from the video, adding your own variants of food.

C: I’ll have….

W: Here you are.

C: Thank you very much!  

9. MINI-DIALOGUES. Let’s watch another video. There you will see what to say when it’s time to order a drink, the meal, the dessert. Video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGcACOXQHsg. Now let’s split into 3 groups. We will practice each mini dialogue. In each group there will be waiters and customers (equal number). The first round – “A Drink”, all the waiters ask all the customers from their group if they can start them off with a drink. Customers respond. The second round – is “The Meal”. The waiters from one team go to another and start serving them. For the 3rd round they change again.

GUIDED SPEAKING

10. DIALOGUES WITH A MENU. Now let’s split into pairs and practice one more dialogue, but a bigger one. Each pair will have 1 menu, 13$ for customer and a prompt for a dialogue.

Dialogue:

Waitress: — Good morning/afternoon/evening. Are you ready to order?

Customer: — Yes, I am, thank you. I´ll have (choose several objects from the menu - food), please.

Waitress: — Would you like anything to drink?

Customer: — I´ll have (choose several objects from the menu - drinks).

Customer: — Could I have (choose several objects from the menu – desserts)?

Waitress: — Sure. Coming right up.

11. DIALOGUE IN A GROUP OF 3.Work in groups of 3. Take roles and act out a dialogue at Ruby’s ordering lunch. Use the menu and the plan.

12. DIALOGUE. Students split into teams of 4. One of them is a waiter, the rest – customers. The waiter has to ask the customers about drinks, the meal, the dessert.

ü Выполнение коммуникативной задачи.

ü Соответствие содержания диалога заданию: соответствие реплик ситуации и типу диалога, соблюдение норм речевого этикета.

ü Взаимодействие с собеседником: умение начать, закончить разговор, адекватно реагировать на вопросы и комментарии, учитывать реакцию собеседника.

 поддерживать разговор, сочетая обмен короткими репликами с развернутым высказыванием.

ü Лексическое оформление речи: соответствие словарного запаса поставленной задаче, правильное использование лексики, отсутствие грубых лексических ошибок.

ü Грамматическая правильность речи: правильное использование изученных грамматических образцов.

ü Правильное произношение, отсутствие грубых фонематических ошибок.

ü Разнообразие используемых языковых средств.

ü Логичность речи: соблюдение логичности в следовании реплик.

ü Объём высказывания.

ü Темп и выразительность речи, правильная интонация.
