ЗАДАНИЯ
1.1. Найдите транскрипцию приведённых ниже слов в англо-русском словаре. Произнесите слова в соответствии с транскрипцией (см. Приложение1). Прослушайте слова (см. Введение . п.2). (Find a transcription of the following words in the English-Russian dictionary. Say the words according to the transcription (see Application1). Listen to the words (see Introduction. item2.)

The computer became an integral part of our life, there is a general computerization of the population. Computer users pass from computers with dual-core processors to computers with multicore processors. You can establish about 80 processors on one machine, different processors can run in parallel with incredible speed. In the near future wonder-computers will distinguish members of the family, recognize instantly the signs of excitement or stress among patients of hospital or air passengers.
Young people choose the professions of the future connected with the sphere of information technologies. Practically there are computers which are necessary for adjusting and serving in each organization. Any field of activity needs the special software – an accounts department, a work with databases, transfers... Therefore, the work of any company is actually impossible without IT (Information Technology)-specialists, for example, computer programmers, system administrators, web designers, developers of computer hardware. It is necessary for programmer to create and debug the software, to support its efficiency. The system administrator will have to support operability of a local network, to monitor the operation of computers, "catch" viruses and debug. Developers of computer hardware search effective ways to save huge amounts of information in small physical volumes. Web designers should be able to create original and attractive sites for Internet users.
The choice of future profession for young people is a serious issue because it affects not only a career, but also their whole future life. Minimal computer skills are required for most specialties. Without good computer skills it is almost impossible to find a highly paid work. But except computer education, the knowledge of English will be doubtless plus to a profession. A large number of computer programs are available only in English today. English studying also opens doors to understanding the world of computers.
1.3. Прочитайте приведенные ниже слова. Обратите внимание на особенности перевода интернациональных слов (см. Введение . п . 3.). Попытайтесь перевести слова без словаря.
