|  I would like to describe, compare and contrast two photos showing different ways of spending holidays. The first impression I have looking at them is positive.

| In the first photo there is a single parent family having a camping trip, while in the second photo we can see a perfect family activity holiday. |

| The photos have a few things in common. They are connected with the topic a holiday. First of all, in both photos people are enjoying their favourite holiday pastime. Besides, both photos were taken outside – a particularly exciting moment for any holiday-maker. |

| However, there are some differences between the photos. In the photo on the left there is a single parent family of two, whereas in the photo on the right we can see a family of four. The family in the left-hand photo is definitely enjoying a summer camping trip. The man is sitting on the ground next to the tent while the boy is standing on the stone with raised up arms. He is spreading his arms wide to the sky,admiring beautiful natural environment. Unlike them the family of four is having a winter activity holiday. They are climbing a mountain, pulling the sled uphill, playing snowballs and enjoying active free time. |
| say which of the activities presented in the pictures you’d prefer
| As for me, I’d prefer an activity winter holiday. My favourite season is winter and I try to spend a lot of time outdoors when the weather is not very frosty and cold. |

| I like sledding and playing snowballs with my friends. There is nothing better than gliding through the cool air on a sled for hours of entertainment. |
