Отсутствие либидо
Новая незнакомая обстановка, помещение в клетку или агрессивное поведение кошки могут спровоцировать временное или постоянное снижение либо утрату либидо. Скудный рацион или ожирение также являются причинами подобного нарушения. Устранение причины приводит к восстановлению либидо, однако при врожденном нарушении лечение считают неэтичным в связи с наследственным характером дефекта.

Невозможность совершить вязку
Если при наличии возбуждения кот не может совершить вязку, причина может заключаться в том, что в области пениса свалялась шерсть и появились колтуны (см. выше).
Ретроградная эякуляция
В литературе имеются сведения о ретроградной эякуляции у котов, однако лечение не разработано.
