Healthy school dinners
In Britain, a lot of students eat lunch at school, but the food is often not very healthy. Some years ago, a famous chef, Jamie Oliver, decided to try to make school dinners better. (1) His programmes explained what he did in the schools. And they showed that it wasn’t always easy for Jamie!
First, he went to Kidbrooke School in London. (2) She told Jamie that she had 37p to spend on each child daily. He also found out that the children liked unhealthy food such as chips.
