[ŋ] It’s a nasal consonant. The tip of the tongue is down behind the bottom teeth, but the back of the tongue goes up to the soft palate, forming a blockage. Don’t raise the front and the middle part of the tongue up to the hard palate.

ng = [ŋ]: long, singer

nk = [ŋk]: ink
