Within the conference, we are also planning to hold a General Meeting for the members of Russian Society for History and Philosophy of Science.

Information for conference participants and partners

Payment of all expenses of non-resident participants is performed foremost by directing side. Along with it, the Organizing Committee may provide a limited number of participants who will make timely submissions with free accommodation in Nizhny Novgorod for the duration of the conference.

Participation in the conference includes the following forms: an oral paper, invited comments, session and round table discussions, a virtual (“publisher”) presentation; organization of sessions, round tables, seminars and presentations within the framework of the conference.

In order to increase academic mobility, the Organizing Committee welcomes early submissions to the conference. Participants sending texts in advance will have an advantage in accommodation and payment of the registration fee.

 

Registration fees

 


50 Euro (normal) and 25 Euro (for students) could be paid by the conference registration. This includes the distribution of the conference proceedings, organization of coffee breaks & welcoming party, Russian visa support and a competence advice in terms of the hotel accommodation.

Paper submission guidelines

To participate in the conference, please submit your paper via http://www.philosconf.unn.ru/revolyutsiya-i-evolyutsiya-2019/registratsiya/ until 15 December 2018.

In case your paper is co-authored, please, indicate all the authors, their affiliation and other relevant information in the online registration form. Conference paper publication is free of charge. The Organizing Committee reserves the right not to accept manuscripts that do not meet the academic standards of scholarly research and the technical requirements. The submitted abstracts will be checked for plagiarism and self-plagiarism. The proportion of the original text should not be less than 80 percent.

The paper is between 1,200 and 1,600 words and includes in-text references. The abstract, keywords, information about the author(s) and references (given in alphabetical order) should be inserted into separate forms. The abstract should be between 150 and 300 words. Please, give the following information of the author(s): the first name, middle name(s), and surname – all written in full; affiliation, country, and city. Please give the full official name of your organization.

The in-text references should be put in square brackets and contain the author, the year of publication and (if necessary) the page. Eg: [Edmonds, 2010, p. 15].
